If you like call of the night you should read the mangaka's other work Dagashi Kashi, its my fave slice of life/romcom and I say that as someone who despises the genre lmaooo. The setup/gimmick is a bit more standard compared to CotN but its the same writing style and characterization that makes CotN stand out amongst the sea of samey stuff the genre got. Your "Yeah, Bleach Slaps" video was great, always good to see more Bleach love, and I am all for your style of videos so don't worry, I'm definitely following for your content, not just Bleach :) If you're still taking recommendations, might I mention a little manga series called Chrono Crusade? (Also known as Chrno Crusade, but that's actually an inaccurate translation.) The anime adaptation is... like. Fine. But the manga is where it's at! I read it when I was a wee lad back in middle school when it was still ongoing, back in the days when it was hard as fuck to search shit online so I didn't finish the series for a good few years as the next books came out. It's one of my favorite manga series and has left a huge impression on me as a creator! It's set in 1920's America and centers around a gun toting nun and her mysterious magic boy sidekick! It starts off silly and a bit on the episodic side, but once all the main characters are introduced (of which there are 4), the plot kicks off and things get real. That's, like, a VERY watered down description but it's catchy, eh? Like I said, the anime is a bit mid imo and diverges hard from the manga's story, BUT the soundtrack SLAPS. Tsubasa wa Pleasure Line bumps hard and Sayonara Solitia WILL make you cry by the end of the series. Anyways, love your videos and can't wait to see more!

As for an anime recommendation I’m gonna throw in Made in Abyss. The second season just released on HIDIVE but it’s such a different take on an adventure anime, I think you’d really like it. i really recomend this manga called usogoi. its really dark, but its also really good. its about gambling, it has good art, good characters, good story. it gets really tense, and i think its better than other great gambling manga like kaiji. please read and do a review on. The first bit is kinda mid, but after that, the rest of the chapters are peak. It is 500 chap long, but each chap is quite short

The cool thing with call of the night is how its cast and storyline massively expands in mass and quality after the first what? 20 or 30 chapters? Like I vividly remember the author leaving a note saying something like "Im gonna try to go in a bit of a different direction with this series" and all of a sudden the worldbuilding and storyline grows to a COMPLETELY different level.

I don't usually like romcoms but I'm glad I gave this one a chance. It's good so far and we all need some Vamp Shawty in our life. Glad I clicked on this video lol.
