@@Dapriestmon8516 like honestly the registry existing to begin with makes some sense, being rigorous makes sense for making the public think things are handled well. Being complacent and idiotic with further regulation post their own screw ups makes it so that their purpose becomes worthless as if they aren't protecting vampires then they aren't protecting the public either since it makes vampires less likely to want to obey which leads to opposition groups that go more extreme then they ever were to start with and makes the public think they aren't under control thus tightening the leash causing more backlash until they've tightened their own noose instead and primed a war instead of making any amount of peace.
So. Show of hands. Who else paused the video and went off on an imaginative tangent telling off the registry goon? Also... Who else is pretty convinced that it was malice rather than incompetence on the registry's part that lead to the tainted supply?
There's a non-zero chance this was some test of a vampire killing thing and they are scared shitless because minimum angel markers can apparently stop it and they are worried if she gets even a drop she'll survive the next one...... Also a decent chance they are SHIELD level 'drop a helicarrier on new York every Monday' incompetent at everything or have just one guy who let the cult of van helsings put their vamp poison on the line.
Me, I may or may not have imagined pulling a "pissed of anime hero" that not only told off the registry, but scared them with a gun while fuming with rage over them mistreating my loved one. And as for the second part. I'm starting to believe it was the registry themselves that poisoned the vampires, to try and get rid of them, out of both fear and malice. Like they lured the vampire kind in with saying that they'll be able to live like normal humans, but they don't actually care, they'll take any chance they have of killing them off.
I was beyond furious I told them to back off I told them I was coming and hell was coming with me. Sorry I'm a big tombstone fan . it is one of my favorite movies
Her: "It's just the Registry. We know what they're like, and we can't fight them. Yet." Me: *reigns in the literal wrath of God and nods* "...Yet." Also me: "Wait. Is your grandfather... Dracula?" Holy shit I love this series. Spectacular job.
you know, of all the audio roleplayers i have come across, you have the Voice that seems the most... Real to me. Its the reason why i come back to your stuff. Also, i love the Vampire Storyline. I hope you do more of it. also, i like that you call your listeners sweetness... it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...
Angle theory: I think that the angelic blood only activates in dire situations, so it activated to save her life and it MIGHT activate in us listeners if we perhaps, need to save all of vampire kind?
I must say that the more I listen to your audios the more am falling in love with your voice, seriously, you have amazing voice and you work with it really well, you make it seem so real and genuine... I guess you are a magical nymph after all...
Sweetness needs to angel smite the Registry into the next plane of existence. This is sooooo an anti-vampire op and it'd be so cool to see the two of them expose the Registry as the villains that they are. Thanks for the great audio series Nymph!
Thank God, she's okay. I was super worried, for the last part my med student brain started running on what was going down. To think our girl was poisoned! Welp time to stock up and testing each and every bag/vial/bottle of blood to make sure she'll be fine. She hate me for it might even call me a helicopter boyfriend but damn it she'll survive.
Ree; Yes I am glad Vamp Nymph has survived. You kept the story very well paced, and I almost wished you had a larger cast of voice actor's. Almost; you do such a fine job of handling the story yourself ! You have some really intriguing possible story lines coming up Ree. The mysterious grandfather: possibly an unreformed vampire ? (Dracula clone) Hmmm! Vamp Nymph, and her friend need to stay close together. A storm may be coming !
(Siting in the office cleaning a M1911 and a combat knife over and over again has flash back) “ Sir Task force 141 is the area ready to engage the building over”, “copay task force mission is green over storm is ago over storm is ago”, Her:baby Me:Y-yeah you okay Her: my head is killing me but other than that I’m okay Me: that’s good
Ya know. We are the first angel to appear for the registry and that vampire is the first registered (and tracked) to have drunk angel blood. It would be better for the registry to just keep a close watch on us to see what happens. Like a science experiment.
Yes, introduce us to the grandpa, older vampire should mean stronger one too. And he has to have money to buy "good" blood. Perfect for our revolution against the registry. Humans shouldn't be the only ones telling vampires what to do.
Alt. Ending: From the rage boiling within the listener, our Angel powers activate, we smite the suits from The Registry, carry lil miss vampy out of the hospital via the window (yes, we sprout angel wings and fly away), then find a secret society within the city where they've been working in secret to take down the Registry because they know someone on the inside poisoned the blood supply. From there, it's a race against time as the Registry puts out an APB on us, as well as threatening all vampires with indefinite detention without trial if they do not assist in turning us in, while we fight to defeat the Registry and make the city more livable for the vampires, as well as other demi-human races.
My family is fine with this they are just happy I do find someone to love, and I will fight to make sure you are safe, if they hurt you there will be hell to pay
