I should make this clear, this is accessibility from a standpoint of someone brand new to Vsav, looking to pick up a character and bring them to a semi competent level. Think around a silver/gold ranking in SFV. Some characters are certainly easier than this when playing at a beginner vs beginner level but I'm hoping for a little longevity with your pick.
This shit is why we need DarkStalkers 4. Too many people exist in this world without knowing there's a game where you can literally throw a person with your ass cheeks. We must bestow this sacred knowledge upon as many people as possible.
Just so you know: the guy on the left you didn't know is "Dee", (basically evil Donovan). He's only playable in The Vampire Chronicles (the PS2 collection) via a cheat code on the CSS, so yeah, not legal in the slightest, but still a neat secret.
He's not really a cheat, since he uses the same method to be picked as Shadow and Marionette, though he can only be accessed in Arrange modes from VS/VH2/VS2, so there's that making him be more convoluted when being picked.

Spot-on with Talbain. He's basically werewolf Ken. Great speed plus one of his supers(I can't remember if it's in DS3) is pretty much a SF Alpha 2 mechanic.

With Felicia believing that they can live peacefully with them, and with jon believing the opposite. Prolly cause Felicia is a cute cat girl that weebs would froth over, and jon is a werewolf who intimidates everyone lmao.
I think Anakaris is harder to use than L Raptor, considering Anakaris doesn't have a throw and a guard cancel, but he has a corner-only dash/teleport, anti-wake up special move, and 8-way jump...
Nak definitely has some mobility difficulties, but Raptor has mobility AND button normal attacks that are very difficult for new players and even experienced players. For Nak, most of his character difficulty is based upon his lack of design options regarding some of the basic fundamentals, such as no normal throw, and most of all no pushblock (arguably the most hurtful option to not possess at high level gameplay) not to mention a completely punishable guard cancel. Raptor is difficult because he has too many options! Though once you become comfortable with his options, he is arguably the best character in the game. So in a nutshell, Nak is missing too many important fundamental options, and Raptor has too many effective options within his mobility and normal attack options of close and far ground attacks, as well directional normal attacks in his aerial game. Newer players can get away with doing almost anything with Raptor and manage to get something to hit, whereas Nak can get smothered as a beginner without learning his dash and dive pressure to counteract being stuck on defense
i'm very interested in darkstalkers due to the aesthetic and gameplay, as someone coming from street fighter this helps :) i heard capcom may be making a new game as well

Im laughing so hard. Seeing felicia in easy is so real. I just started yesterday and i only was able to beat Dimitri with her. I cant even beat him twice in a row 😩 if shes the most accessible I guess theres hope for me yet
Me coming into this video being like “Lord Raptor is pretty cool” and then the tier list starting off with “FUCK THIS CHARACTER, DO NOT PLAY THIS CHARACTER” XD I am basically a total beginner though, and looking forward to playing this game for the first time in the upcoming Capcom collection!
I dont agree with hsien-ko in the middle. Your air dashing has to be clean to maximize her mixup potentiential, chain canceling as well. And tenraiha also has a lot of setups, some of which are pretty hard. Bb hood is the center imo. Her bnbs are not that difficult, her movement is not that complicated and very strong. She can be played really sweaty with dash links but also lame and simple.
Ok really late comment but zabel seems interesting and i have had some experience with games like guilty gear rev 2 and blazblue so does that make any differencr or is he still hard as fuck
Having an anime background will certainly help, but still expect to do some lab time before you get consistent results. It's worth the effort though since he's top 1
