Many people never thought that in the modern world living as a vampire is much more difficult than living as a human. There are no benefits.

@@fersho450 Viktor is considerably older and it honestly seems like Elder Vampires like Viktor scale much more in strength with age than any Lycans do. Lucian went from being able to hold his own against Viktor in Rise of the Lycans to needing Michael to take on Viktor several centuries later. Raze is somewhat close to Lucian in age, yet he gets snapped like a toothpick by Viktor 600 years later in his Lycan form. It seems like Lycans don't advance in strength as they age to the same degree as Elder Vampires.

​@@windowsVDViktor is also much older and grows stronger as he grows older, has centuries of combat experience, is a master tactician, manipulator, and has fought and killed hundreds of lycans long before Lucian and Raze were born.

@@elmermedina1713 The age and experience advantage really didn’t matter much against Lucian initially, who was able to go toe to toe against Viktor on pretty equal footing in their first fight. The major difference seems to be more that Viktor continued to get stronger with age whereas Lucian seems to have more or less capped out in terms of his abilities, indicating that Lycans simply don’t scale their powers with age in the same way as Elder Vampires did. Over time, Viktor became much more powerful than Lucian, was why he seemed desperate to create a hybrid in order to stop Viktor when in their first fight, Lucian seemed pretty capable of defeating Viktor by himself.

I doubt that. If Michael wasn't in the picture they would have continued to wipe eachother out.

Honestly don't get why Werewolves are not the dominant ones. Vampires can't even come out during day, while the Lycans can work in sunlight.

@@Kncperseus it’s probably cause the main character is a vampire and the filmmakers are bias for the vampires and are always labeling the lycans as the “bad guys”

@@Kncperseus Its because of Victor's authority in the land. He had a big army at his disposal, a castle, and was able to readily use his influence to gather silver, which is why he was able to enslave them for a time, the silver pointed neck shackles that the vampires created wouldve killed any Lycan that dared transform.

@@Kncperseus Younger lycans can't transform at will, they have to rely on the full moon. And while in human form, the vamps are generally stronger than them

@@VelkanG Wouldn't have killed them, the collars would've prevented transformation, unless Viktor wanted them to. Silver is a weakness of Lycans, it will kill them if too much is introduced into their bloodstream. But the first silver weapons were a means of control.

There is an assumption behind your curiosity - that werewolves are incapacitated while transforming. That's not true. If anything, once the transformation gets triggered, they only get better.

@@albussd True, but that still would have granted the vampire a better chance of winning while the lycan was "busy" changing/morphing to his stronger self; I read somewhere that a vampire is stronger than an unchanged lycan/still in human form (since vampires barely change at all except perhaps for the hissing and protruding fangs), but except for elders, vampires are not match against changed lycans of similar age or even a bit younger (as long as the age gap is not generationally-speaking too great)... at least not without weapons. That's why Death Dealers rely on knowledge and technology, that is on strategy, tactics, martial arts and weapons training to hunt down lycans. The only thing vampires seem to have on lycans of similar age in terms on a physical level is perhaps agility/grace/finesse. That is why Selene is such an efficient killer, she uses both her innate (agility/grace) and acquired skills (assassin's training) perfectly against the cruder, more brutish and feral lycans

Vampires are more intelligent when werewolves turn

They're strong enough to fight and even beat a Vampire in human form and very fast, but they're even stronger and faster in their Lycan form. Their intelligence goes down a bit when they transform, they also can't use weapons in wolf form.

A soldier said me apparently when you re in fight it s really difficult to hit the opponents. The fight is very fast, you waste a lot of ammo. This gun fight is strangely realist. And a lot of shoots are done to make the opponent stop. The goal in this case is n't to hit but to make interdiction
