My heart goes out to you. I know that feeling too well. We have adopted many fur babies over the years. When one is lost, we adopt another one...not to replace but so that the life of the one gone, is not in vain but served to make room for another baby to fill the dog-shaped hole in everyone's heart. I just love watching Finn and the love you have for each other. We’ve just lost our older black lab that I adored as much as you do Finn. Fortunately we have two younger labs to ease our pain. Forest of Bowland is lovely, not too far from us. Enjoyed this video.

Completely understand when you mention about leaving your dog when he goes to your ex. Its amazing how much of a bond you can get with dogs, they are so loyal and caring. It’s heartbreaking really, and I have the same with my cocker spaniel. Great videos pal, keep it up 👍🏻🙌🏻

I love walking around the Forest of Bowland - my stomping ground. There’s a great circular walk from where you camped heading towards Langdon Castle - not a castle but a shooting hut (not very exciting) & the walk has some lovely moorland views.
Your videos are a breath of fresh air and lift my spirits a lot. When I toured England, Scotland and Wales in 1971, I did not get to visit the Lake District, which I regret greatly. Your videos make me feel as if I am there.
Like many my heart was also in my mouth when i read the title! Shame you didn't have time to head up the Brook to Langdon Castle (don't get excited, it's a sheep shed!) it's a beautiful valley.

I’d be careful about filming yourself drinking alcohol in a vehicle. I’m not a lawyer but this could be taken as drunk driving or similar by old plod. It is similar to the concept of sleeping off drunkenness in your car. You’re still “in control of a motor vehicle” and so could be charged. I’m not sure if there is an exception of being in a motor home as opposed to a car, but you’re parked on the highway instead of public property as well. Sorry for being a grouch! Love the videos. I’ve just bought the Wainwrights 6 book pack.
I’ve not watched much of your stuff but I think that’s about to change 😃😃😃so I’m now subbed so I promise I’ll watch as many vids as I can . I’d love to sell my flat and buy a decent van and just travel but I don’t think it’s as easy as people make out plus not sure how my 3 pups would take to it .

We love walking but sadly can't do so much now as i have a bad hip & my hubby suffers from agoraphobia. Wanted to say thank-you bringing the outdoors into our home & for the recommendation of the Hazy Jane guava, my husband was intrigued so purchased some for himself & he really enjoyed it! 😊

An unusual one for you, Glenn. You should see more of Bowland. A stunning place, less populated than its neighbours, the lakes and dales. There were many other places familiar to me too, including where you swapped Finn over. I won't name it, but it's only 10 minutes from me. Tfs, Paul
Eeeeeeeh Bowland! Name of my college at Lancaster, our college bar was/is called the Trough of Bowland. Hello to my fellow Bowlanders reading this. I didn’t spend much time in the actually Forest of Bowland while at uni, I only got a car in my last year there, and the one time me and 2 friends did go for a walk in Bowland it was also extremely misty. I did get a nice shot of some farm equipment silhouetted in the mist, though (and that was on film, in the days before digital cameras, Jesus I’m old!). I was also very concerned about Finn’s well-being when I first clicked on the link. I’m glad the little cutey is happy and well, and enjoying her pampering luxury before her next fun two weeks of running around fells! Definitely life goals right there!
Cracking video! I'm glad Finn is actually ok and only staying with her Ma for a fortnight. A great van camp with great surroundings, I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be trying Banana on my next homemade Chicken Curry (I'm more of a breast man!). Only one thing though Glenn.........ORANGE CROCS!

best walk in the area is from the base of parlick > saddle end > saddle fell > path down bleadale water (os doesnt show its a connected path but it is!) > langden castle > fiendsdale head > fairsnape fell > back to parlick................. a very different and unique walk if you fancy it. its excellent!
Mate I love your content, nothing quite like the bond between a man and his dog! I've had Jack Russell's all my adult life. Your videos with Finn all ways bring a smile to my face. If you fancy something a little different try Brewdog Layer Cake (marshmallow and Chocolate Stout) it's EPIC.

A friend of mine here in Canada was at a late night camping party when the police showed up and warned them to close it down and leave because there was a grizzly bear in the area. They had warned another party just down the road. The two parties joined forces, turned up the music and continued partying all night. They never saw any sign of the grizzly.

1'58 Not a lot of places to park. Vans R US. Did you get a parking ticket? Vans in every lay by are nightmare and should be banned. Go onto a campsite. The c+++ people leave is unbelieveable.

Used to drive through there is my first car, a 63 Morris Cooper. The Trough is a magical place whatever your transport. Haven’t been back for years , but the smell of that curry might just tempt me. Thank you.
