Wasn't clear if you established a continuous wate vapor barrier from the inside to all the metal sheathing of the van since I'm not seeing any aluminum tape in the video (which is what you use to join Polyido boards on the aluminum face side to get that continuous barrier)... that's hyper critical to keep moisture condensating whenever the van is warmer than the outside air enough to have condensation gather on the metal skin on the inside. Many also make the mistake of thinking that propane cooking will "dry the air" out, but in fact, propane releases moisture into the air. Amazon sells inexpensive weather stations that show temp and humidity, you might want to pick one up and put in the van to be aware of what you're humidity is. Make sure you are venting as absolutely much as possible, and if you go solar, consider a small dehumidifier to run off the battery. Amazon has a small one that pulls 9 oz a day, and only draws 20 watts, so can readily run off a solar setup of any significant size. At $45 it's a cheap improvement to have, and will help if you travel to humid climates to sleep better in drier air.

Hey man, I just bought a 1991 Ford Club Wagon XLT. It's a passenger van so there what appears to be some insulation and padding on the interior already. Is it safe to unscrew those panels and remove them and start from scratch? Or should I just insulate over them and install wood paneling over that? I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing so any insight would be great! Thanks! :D

I used that rear AC space to mount all my solar controller system equipment. As the holes already exist. So no drilling required. I still kept the rear AC.

+Master Chief 00117 good idea! We used the space for our water tank and the hole from the hoses for our sink drain, it was perfect.

What did you guys do with the seats? Were you able to sell them? I heard dodge ram seats are expensive and I'm currently debating selling mine!
