Light plays for both the maker and the viewer of the painting an important role. It faithfully reproducing natural lighting conditions is one of the biggest challenges for visual artists. Van Gogh struggled with this. However, light is a major influence on how the viewer experiences a painting.
Did you know that the museum every first Friday of the month big turn out? The other Friday nights are smaller in scope: there is always a DJ, VJ, free tours, cocktail bar and is one of the acts of the first evening back once. You can come on Friday from 18 to 22 hours.
