Of course, #AcrylicPainting did not exist in Van Gogh's time. However, this does not prevent us from using this environment for learning and creating art in the famous Van Gogh style. This is a very detailed acrylic painting for beginners tutorial that will show you how to mix paints, which brush to use, how to paint on canvas, and many other painting techniques. Our Van Gogh Style painting lesson shows you step by step all the necessary techniques to quickly and enjoyably create a beautiful painting for your home or office. Like other #AcrylicPaintingForBeginners on my channel, this video will help you move forward in your skills and abilities.
To learn how to paint like van gogh, just take a brush in your hands, a little paint, a piece of paper or canvas, don't forget about water to wash your brush and watch this acrylic painting tutorial.
I tried to create an entertaining video with nice music. Let's paint together, it will be great #ArtTherapy. This is one of those things that I love about art - I can get distracted and forget about everything in the world. For me it is really Art Therapy.
Today we are drawing a plot similar to one of Van Gogh's paintings, but a little changed so that even a beginner can handle it. Feel free to add or change something. It is a beautiful landscape with cypresses, a house and several olive trees. Mountains can be seen in the distance. Wonderful rural and rustic scenery.

I’m fully convinced that many of the impressionists and post-impressionists would’ve used acrylic had it be invented and popular during their time. Great work!!

Hello, thanks for the comment! When I did #OilPaintingTutorial, I signed all the paints, but here it’s probably too much hurried to upload a video. Here I use #acrylic paints, it is worth mentioning that the palette has ocher, brown and black, medium yellow (not lemon), medium red (not dark), turquoise and blue are also used. If you want to do this work in oil, yellow and red medium I would take cadmium, brown - mars brown transparent, black - ivory black (in no case carbon black!), turquoise would be mixed from ultramarine, titanium white and emerald, well, blue titanium white and ultramarine. I hope this helps in your #art, if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I would also advise you to study the colors that you have at home in this way: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qbfO-3rz_l4.html After this practice, it seems to me that you can quickly choose exactly the shade that you like the most.

Hi, Bert! I really appreciate this advice, I'm currently working on a video with #NewYork in the evening and will add a description of the colors. For this #AcrylicPainting, any brand of acrylic paint will do. I used Amsterdam Art Creation. Colors we can see at 00:00:25 - Palette: White titanium Naphthol red medium (we can replace it with any Red Medium, for example Cadmium) Turquoise green Brilliant Blue (we can replace it with Ultramarine + White or any blue you have) Ivory Black (I try to avoid Black Soot paint, but it's quite rare) Burnt Umber (we can replace it with Iron Oxide/Mars Brown/Dark Brown) Yellow Ocher Azo yellow deep (we can replace it with any Yellow Medium, for example Cadmium) I should note that many paint manufacturers name their paints in a special way for marketing purposes, and the same color (or close to it) may differ in name from different manufacturers. When I go to an art store, I trust my intuition more. It seems to me that in order to learn the palette well, such an exercise could come up: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qbfO-3rz_l4.html

I wish I can add my art here. I watched your video and I did it mine. Thank you for your video, it was perfect. However, can I ask you something? There is a color in there. It's like dark red, but I am not sure about that. Can you tell me which color is that?
@Alex_Teal
@Alex_Teal Год назад
Hello, you can upload your work on Facebook (link in contacts) and I can give you a couple of tips. The red from the video is an imitation of cadmium red DEEP/DARK (it is pinker) also you can try carmine.

Hello. In all new videos I sign brushes, in this video you can see them here (synthetic flat rounded, synthetic small flat rounded and thin round also synthetic). I'm glad that artists in #Canada are watching me, I hope you have already started pleasant warm days :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r-39scnpMVQ.html

@Alex_Teal
@Alex_Teal 2 года назад
Hey :) Hello, here I used acrylic paints and it seems to me that they have no specific names, except for yellow ocher. Red, yellow, brown, turquoise, ultramarine, black. If you are interested in learning about the color palette, try to do with the paints that you have, here is a color study: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qbfO-3rz_l4.html&ab_channel=AlexTeal-paintingforbeginners
