Perhaps he was worried about being typecast. However, his body of work since speaks for itself. Hollywood. Hmm...

The real Shark doesn’t have a vibrato. The animators thought the route was a whammy bar from the picture on the album cover but NO guitar has a whammy in that position. It’s just not possible.
