Ha thanks Jose! Absolutely, Eddie used a Steinberger guitar on this track with the transtrem which is how he gets those instant pitch modulations. Very cool. Using a capo allows you to get something close on a hardtail guitar.

Yeah, great stuff. You might also check out Reggie Wooten, especially live performances. He uses hairbands for a capo up and down the fret, rapidly changing his tuning on the fly. It's capo unchained!

They're not my "favorite" guitar, that would be a good Les Paul IMO nothing can beat the tone and the vibe, but anyway, if I had to have 1 guitar for every type of gig from here on out, I'd probably choose a Tele because like you said, the versatility is crazy. You can get away with anything from Van Halen to Allman Brothers to Trivium or anything modern and heavy or even Chris Stapleton type country, with a Tele.

Yea... EV played this with a special guitar that allowed him to switch on the fly. They didn't play Summer Nights (one of my favs) very often live. I love the fact that this guy just dumps the capo!! "That's your plan? Fuck it?.. alright fuck it!" (Yellowstone reference!)

You nail the song perfectly without the trans trem and also the whammy which he uses but you replaced with a squealie at the perfect time so it sounds almost identical. Really good job. Otherwise I have to watch it at .25 lol
