I know Van. He was always really good since I can remember. Ivyland skatepark from like 1995 to riding street in Philly. We had some fun sessions when it was like just Van, Wiz and myself. I got to see some crazy ish go down. It was cool to see him manual Penn rail, a landmark in Philly BMX. That was my favorite clip because even though the rail is flat, it's pretty skinny, long, and you can't hop straight onto it. It's at an angle, so it's pretty crazy he did a manual on it. He does know those rails well, though. He ice picked it a long time ago. I'm 40, so he's like 42 or 43 and still doing it. He's built for it though. Big dude, probably 6'3" 230 of BMX muscle. 2nd best looking tailwhips besides Taj.

I come back to this after all these years and remember thinking when it came out how mind blowing it was. It may even be more mind blowing now. Some of those approaches and exits from his lines are far from ideal and he's doing big grinds and combos into and out of them. He's such an Animal. Just on attack mode.

I never thought it would be possible for someone to ever match Vans Criminal Mischief part. But here he is one upping his own riding! I know it’s 4 years old, but still! That rail manual...I remember that was the biggest ice pick I’ve ever seen, and then he manuals it!! WTF!!! Such insane athleticism and style!!

The man that started putting tires on rails, and still one of the few that manual rails. Van is a beast. I remember first hearing of him on a props video and taking note that he would be the next level. Love live VAN

The first time I knew who Van was, was when I saw him on a poster. He was doing a turn down transfer between jersey barriers in Vancouver. And that is when I feel in love with BMX.

Way back in the day on a Europe Road Fools I believe, Van said to Ruben and Osato that they didn't have to ride for the rest of the trip. Well Van, you can take the rest of the trip off too man.

Honestly, no homo, van homan inspired me to fucking try anything i put my mind too..most if the time u left the spot successful... VAN, ur my dude! Every edit is f-ing awesome. holy fuck...im almost 45 and i have watched this video and the manimal riding in it atleast 12 times now were im planning on buying myown fit VHS bike in 2018 and i havent touched a bmx since the 90s the stellar music and edit skills to sync the song to the tricks and landings is kinda hard to match up perfectly "mind blown"

***** Me too, since early 90's. Still have my skyway and my S&M Holmes. Recently got a cruiser and a Fit Hartbreaker. I'm 35 and a bit out of shape. I ride dialed brakes and a full face helmet, knee pads, gloves, and a slim padded chest protector shirt when riding dirt!

Well Van Homan is the Everlast of BMX! Everlast has a white beard now, still raps, and pulls it off! Van Homan will be the only rider with white hair still firing out rails and bombing stairs! He must have access to some genetic engineering we don't know about because BMX is proven to be harder on a persons body then even Motorcycles!
