You two make this journey a great opportunity for those of us who do not travel to experience the beauty of God’s grand design. Your adorable personalities are the icing on the cake (or should I say pie ). Thank you so very much.
We love traveling with you to places we’ll never go but are interest in seeing! I love how you’ll drop her little compliments like “you are pretty” - you’re such a cute couple!
that was awesome lots of walking to eat more pie`s....lol My mother just turn 90yrs old on April 13th, and said she wants to live till she is 100. I just hope to live till i`m 75. ok i have caught up with all video`s..... i need some more Brian..... take care be safe and enjoy mom while you can...............
We love all of your videos, but this was one of our favorites! You both do a wonderful job showing the landscape as you’re driving. Love all the little towns you showed, all of the beautiful waterfalls! The parks were beautiful! Thanks for giving the history of the areas you visit. Keep up the great work. Continued safe travels 🙏❤️
I never knew WV had such beautiful country and those waterfalls how gorgeous!! This is a great video. You make them so much fun to watch. Safe travels!
I worked for Hamms Beer from 1969-1972 at the Los Angeles brewery. We had beer breaks and the kitchen refrigerator was stocked with bottles. We were also able to buy "shorts" cases for $2 for 12 oz and $2.50 for 15 oz cans (pre 16oz). They closed that facility in 1972 and at that time I had over 100 cases of beer in my garage. We had quite the party LOL. To this day, the odor of beer brewing brings a huge smile and good memories. BTW I never have liked beer but we had lots of friends 😉
We cannot believe it!! You were only a mile from our home when you were on 33 not far from Hocking Hills!! Btw, YOU are the reason we bought a GRECH 😊 and we love it! Interesting fact, the church next door to Brew Dog is one God gave us the privilege to start in 2003 with a teeny group of family and friends! Our son-in-law is pastor. We watched Brew Dog and X Church as they were being built!!! We even had an event in Brew Dog parking lot a couplish years ago! So GLAD you enjoyed Ohio and thanks for introducing the falls to us! My husband is from Ohio and didn’t even know they were there! NOW, we’re going to explore Hocking Hills with new vision! You both have made a huge impact in our older lives! Thank you!! (*X is the Greek letter for Christ. Our son-in-law and team decided to rename us a few years ago)
Wish we could have met y’all as we passed through! We’re SO happy you’re happy with your Grech RV! Thank you so much for sharing this! We LOVE hearing these stories! We sure hope to meet you both sometime! 🧡😊🤓
Thank you for making WV look so beautiful. Of course, we West Virginians know the beauty. I have seen several WV videos which make our State look so poor and neglected. Again, thank you.
The waterfalls were very pretty! Brian, my husband would also open the door for me, I think it is very sweet of you to do that 😁 I don’t know if you remember talking with me about hillbilly hotdog in WVA? But, you were very close, you were only about 15 minutes away. I know you were pressed for time, maybe next time you will be able to go by there 😁, and try to finish “the home wrecker” 😂 I have one of those stickers!!!! 🎉🎉 I hope your mom had a wonderful birthday 🥳. Take care, safe travels!!
Wonderful filming. You passed my hometown of Dunbar, WV, just a little west of Charleston. My parents still live there, they are 93 and 92, and still live on their own. Thanks!
Before we sold our farm in Ohio and became full time RVer's 3 years ago we only lived about an hour from Hocking hills and spent a lot of time there . I think of all the area's to visit there Old Man's Cave is my favorite .
The comedic element of your videos CRACK ME UP… I get as much enjoyment out of that as I do the adventure element. Michelle, I would’ve picked the eggs Benedict also, Yum! Also, while passing through Ohio, Brian, you could stop and get yourself a Buckeye T-shirt while passing through… JK, I know your a big Hawkeye fan, and I respect that and the Hawkeye football program.
We thought about grabbing a t-shirt for a campfire starter, but it was more expensive to do that way. 😉😜 Totally joking! 😂 Ohio State has a great program and part of the Big10 family. 🧡 We’re so glad you are enjoying the videos. 😊🤓
Wow. You two do so many things well, especially finding these interesting, often overlooked, special places along the way. Great show, nice music, editing, storytelling, as usual. Enjoyed seeing Brian's Old Man's Cave, kept expecting Michelle to jump in a waterfall to take a shower, must've been tempting for her. 😎
Really glad to see you folks made it into my home state…. Born and raised in Columbus Ohio And the Hocking Hills area was my playground. And thank you for showcasing my work. I’ve been in the sign business for roughly 40 years and you had quite a bit of my work in your video including some of the signs at BrewDog. But even more I’m very happy to hear the kind words that you had for the state. I only wish I had known you were coming through town I would have loved to have met you folks. Keep the name handy and if you’re ever coming back through shoot me a message me and my wife would love to take you out to dinner. And as a bonus I know where the best PIES In the state are 😊. Thanks again and be safe out there.
Great Video, I grew up and lived in Central Ohio, we visited old mans cave all the time. I had to chuckle of your pronunciation of Scioto River. Keep up the great videos.
I really enjoyed watching your adventure through West VA, and Ohio. It's so lush and pretty back there. I remember taking the train with my Mom from Chicago to Clifton Forge VA when I was a teen and always remembered how beautiful it was because the train ran right along the country side. The only other place I've been that reminds me alot of VA and West VA is on the road to Hanna on Maui, Hawaii. Every time I have been there I always say it so much like W. VA, VA. I loved seeing all the great stops you made on this video. Great job!
Thank you both for this absolutely beautiful video field trip. I have added all of these places to our list to visit ❤❤... Thank you both so much for sharing your journey and adventures.😊😊
Hey! I was born and raised in Milwaukee. We moved to Port Washington WI in 2008. You passed by Port Washington on the way from Door County to Milwaukee traveling south on I-43. Unless you came from the Iowa direction. I would have treated you to breakfast had I known you were going to be so close. Happy travels. Susie
From WV we went to Milwaukee then to Iowa (the Amanda Colonies video) then from Iowa we went to Door County (the Door County video). We would of really enjoyed meeting you! 🧡😊🤓
Fantastic vlog! Your editing is spot on! I love it! Our friends invited us to camp in Hocking Hills state park last summer and we loved it. We took our fifth wheel and motorcycle. The riding was amazing and we also loved Old Man's Cave. We chose campsites that were very narrow and difficult to maneuver, however there are other sites that would have been better for us.
Any info on the background music?soothes the soul. I've been following you two from the start of your journey and my wife (Nancy) and I enjoy your travels more and more. Continued success.
O my goodness.... you hit a lot of places I am very familiar with. I was born and raise in Columbus, Ohio and I took my kids all over..Old Man's Cave, Rock House and a number of other places. I went to school near German Village. If you ever get a chance to go back toa=wards Hocking Hills, stop and see the Route 33 Flea Market. They have an awesome dinner there.
Wow! I google map to see where Cedar Falls is in Ohio and found out it is only about an hour and thirty minutes from my hometown of Portsmouth Oh. I have never been there and it is a beautiful area! Your videos are very educational as well.
I'm saving this video, have to visit these waterfalls. I've been to the Brewdog, in fact I still have a t-shirt from there. Loved it there. Thanks for this video, you guys are awesome!!
You're so pretty, Brian! Don't fall down and get hurt old man...oops I mean at old man's cave. Who would have thought Ohio had so many beautiful places to see. Just proves that every state has treasures, even Iowa. Thank you guys for sharing these treasures.
Ahhh humor, it's the sweet & spicy of life that brings smiles and joy! So thank you both for your humor. Such beauty and serenity in nature. I love to watch water falls and hear the clear power behind them. Water amazes me how it's necessary for life, flows in beauty, yet can move and break down rock over time. The food looked yummy!
I grew up in the areas from this episode. Enjoyed it. Also, my wife and I just closed on our 2023 Grech Strada Ion and in no small part to you guys. I have been looking at Class Bs for over a year and had pretty much settled on another make. I had not heard of the Grech until I came across your channel. I’ve watched about 75% of your episodes now. Thanks for your thoughts and options on the Grech. We are looking forward to traveling the US and maybe crossing trails someday. Keep having fun.
🧡😊🤓 We hope you enjoy your travels in your new Grech RV Strada-Ion. It sure does make traveling so much easier and less stressful. Nothing is perfect, but it sure has made it easier for us. We hope to meet you both sometime soon. Safe travels.
t you Hey you guys ... I found you again!!! First saw your channel when you were toodling around FL (where I live) but, somehow I lost you until today!!! Now I'm totally subscribed and you're stuck w/me:) Thanks so much for your great videography, narrations and for being such a cute couple!
All beautiful! Yes, we spotted it right away at BrewDog! How cool was that!! Hope your mom had a great Birthday! Mine turned 106 last month. I’m so happy for you guys being able to travel so many places!
Great episode! We are actually traveling too now. We left Myrtle Beach and are in Indiana visiting my husbands family at the moment. His mom made the most delicious lemon pudding pie the other day. First thing I said was; “Michelle would absolutely love this pie.” 🤣 Perfect crust. Wow!!! Love y’all. Be safe. ❤
I have found that the hidden gems that I discover along the way to a destination is really what makes a journey extra special!! Wonderful stuff. Continue safe journeying and hope your weekend has been going marvelously. Bruce and Otis
Made it to Old man’s cave. Also went there. The visitors center is so beautiful. It was so cool to see the rock formations. Thanks for the memories (it’s only been a little over a year or so) but your videos are amazing. Hope u both r doing well. Maybe me and Oakley will run into u all again. 🙏 for my Oakley🐶 (u let her in Michigan at the casino) we r waiting on biopsy results. 🙏 she is all good and we can get back out on more adventures. She is my travel buddy for sure. Ok back to watching the video. Lol
Welcome to OHIO! Hocking Hills is a gem, and BrewDog is great! Will your next video explore more of Columbus (my neck of the woods)? I hope you had a chance to visit German Village in Columbus with a stop at Schmidt's Sausage Haus for their famous cream puffs!!
No, we had to keep moving to make it for Mother’s Day and we had two more planned stops before we arrived, so not enough time. Hopefully next time through.👍🏻🧡
I don’t always comment but I never miss a single video! I watch a lot of travel vlogs and I love yours coz it isn’t same same. I love the dialogue you share in each place and love that you slo-mo signs on the highway. Oh it makes me yearn to visit the US, but ha ha I would have to hire a driver!! I never could get used to driving on the right hand side!! Most of all I love seeing the relationship you have with each other and not a video goes by where there isn’t a giggle over your banter!! 😂 Sorry for the long comment…just had to say it 😊
Look forward to your videos every week. Sharing with us all the different pies is a real treat. Let us know if you had a green tomato pie. Give your mom a hug from you tube friends
Our Ohio gemstone - Thanks for stopping at Hocking Hills State Park. I see they have built a new visitor center and made upgrades to the trails since I was last there. It looks like you timed it right with very few tourists to get in your way. BTW, First Watch is a chain. We have two in the Dayton area.
What an awesome video, nostalgic for me as I grew up in Columbus. My Mom (she’s 94) still lives there and was raised in Beckley and Huntington, W.V. Lots of great info, thank you!
That reminds me of Tallulah Falls in GA. 310 steps down to a suspension bridge. The 310 back. My legs were burning 🤣. Beautiful though. Highly suggest!
Thanks to you two for continuing to share the van lifestyle with all of us. It seems you are always on the move and quite often pressed for time. My question is do you ever miss staying in a RV park for longer periods of time and using that as a base for exploring like you used to do with your Class A and Airstream set ups? Just curious.
Not really for two reasons. 1) When in a campground, we are always busy anyway during the week and the. Leaving on the weekends to film. 2) Every time we are out and about with the van we utilize something. It is very very handy to have everything with us. In fact, there has been times that we didn’t want to go back to the campground so we didn’t. Nothing to go back to get when everything is already with you. This may be different for someone else though. We see lots of people enjoying the campground amenities and gathering with others. We love to do that as well, but we don’t get much time for it usually. There’s always a trade off for everything. Sometimes you have to live the lifestyle for a while before you realize what RV will fit your way of traveling/living best.
You made it to my backyard! Hocking Hills State Park is a true gem. Glad you got to experience this beautiful area. Cedar Falls is gorgeous any time of the year but winter is just breath taking. Brew Dog is in my town! Glad you enjoyed it too. Love your videos. Safe travels.
@@LivinRVision we probably just drove past y’all yesterday. We are in Plevna Montana right now for couple more days. It would be something if we ran into y’all again!
I spy with my little eye....all those Airstreams ! We'll be watching out more for your stickers. Thanks for taking us along ole man & your beautiful wife 😉🤪😁 We'll be leaving soon & using more Harvest Host/Boondockers Welcome. Our new moniker is "PLOT TWIST"
Michelle and Chef Sara Moulton look so much alike. I posted this earlier about the first time I saw your video, and me thinking 🤔 that Michelle was Sara Moulton with her husband 🙃
Awesome video….. love the music selection on your drives! Thanks for sharing….. love watching your travels! We are on travel hold for a few more months while we finish building our RV garage then hope to be back on the road again soon so having your videos to watch sure help me! Enjoy your visit with family ❤
Brewdog is a huge company and they have a large brewery in Aberdeen, Scotland with bars and hotels all over the UK. I can't believe that was the 1st time you were in a First Watch since there are a bunch of them in FL. Take care. Talk soon.
Oh darn, Hocking Hills is only 20+ miles or so from my home in Athens, Oh! Would have loved to meet you, but thanks for visiting our little piece of God’s creation❤️. One of my greats+ grandfathers, Josiah Coe was born in Connecticut in 1769, and later settled in our area just beyond the Hocking Hills in 1806. Have never heard of that awesome Brew Dog Brewery, but my daughter lived in German Village after college for a year.
Again, great choice of music to augment your videos, especially the "I've been north..." song. Loved it. We are paralleling your trip in a month or so in WV, and will definitely stop by some of the spots you showed. Thank You.
