Okay for the heat? get: 1. a hand towel/dish towel. you soak it down with water wring it out, wrap it around your neck. 2. get a spray bottle with clean water in it. when you get hot? Spritz down with the water and sit in front of a fan with the towel around your neck. 3. Get a bucket, bin a dish pan. Fill with water and soak your feet. Get a decent fan going on you. with the spray bottle, neck towel, drink water cool preferred but lukewarm will do as well. ( (!!remember to keep up on your electrolytes!!)) you'll be okay. it can actually be very pleasant doing things that way. imagine you're sitting outside your van, in the shade. Under an awning/umbrella, watching kids playing a playground. your feet in the bin of water, you get to feel a little hot? Spritz down with the spray bottle let the fan take care of it. you'll be fine. I spent last summer homeless. I had a travel trailer with no electricity or water in the trailer. now I was camped outside my friend's house. she ran two electrical cords out for me. one to my refrigerator and one to where I could charge things, have a light on, maybe a heater or a fan. we had a heat wave and I did all the things I just told you to do. I sat out under and awning, I'd spray my feet periodically with the spray bottle. I was perfectly comfortable. it was a heat indices of like 110°? mind you I'm in Ohio. so it wasn't super humid but it wasn't dry like Arizona. I was perfectly comfortable in tank top and shorts . PS: please note! that I am acclimated to the heat. my previous apartment of about 10 years did not have AC. that would make a difference for a lot of people if they weren't acclimated to the heat.
Hello, I am new to your channel. I was born and raised in TX, so i know the heat you are referring too. I am in CA now, what a big difference!!! Normally any western state will be more comfortable, climate-wise than any southern state. Rarely do I need to run my AC. The costs here are through the roof though. Like you, I have two power stations and two 12v refrigerators. I power my power stations mainly through solar panels. I haven't found any city, county or state parks here that has AC power for the public. Keep doing your thing, I am definitely cheering for you. I wish I had started the nomad life years ago, but everything happens for a reason.
Arii, A good portable toilet that I use is called “Trip-Tips”. You can order one online. They are sturdy, durable, easy to store, and come with at least 10 black plastic bags. It’s one of the best things I’ve purchased. Especially because I’m not always near a restroom and when you gotta go… you gotta go. 😆
get a solar panel and put them on top of your roof of your van, and 2-3 batteries installed , get pro to put inside your van and you dont have mess around with little batteries ever , make it simple not complicated :)

A max air fan would work the best ...pricey but ultimately u can move the air in or out of the van Im planning on installing one in my Sienna and a cooling blanket n Blissy (that's the brand name) pillowcase keeps the cold let me tell u nothing better than flipping that pillow over n it's icey In the middle of the night also cooking towels Amazon I just got 4 of them for 10 bucks

Yes texas heat is a killer it was one of the reasons why i left fort worth to corpus christi and only lasted a month there till i decided to move back home to hawaii then got sick of hawaii now living in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 its so warm here it only reaches 54°c in summer ☀️ love it here you need to move here your love it honestly
Hi, ❤ You can go online and get you what? They call a female urination /Pee Funnel device. It's very soft You can always clean it with water Alcohol 😊. And reuse it over & over again & save money 👍 Also you get a 3 gallon bucket. From home depot or Lowe's Thay have a toilet lid that fit the bucket online! 👌 You always can use that bucket for other things.Washing clothes. Keep paper Towels TP etc... all kinds of van live things and go to Dollar General. Get a Box of small kitchen bags. Idk if u hve a amazon wish list.if not make 1.and look for the portable toilet u like and put that on the wish list as well as a portable freezer/fridge.and put that on list as well.the fridge is actually a freezer on 1 side and fridge on other.or u can make the whole thing a freezer or fridge.i hve bougerv ( bouge rv) brand. I love it.and u may need another generator to supply power to the fridge.and look into getting solar panels if u don't hve any.that can help supply energy to generator while powering the fridge.and put panel in front window.if u are in motion.❤❤😊😊😊
For pee pee only in the van, buy a screw top pitcher and use it, way smaller than a toilet, easy to place so it doesn't tip over, and easy to get rid of/clean plus you can't overflow it with 1 or 2 uses. 👍.😊.👍
Since you have access to that outlet, i'd of gotten a window unit and kept cool while my station charged. Even if I'd feel weird about being there for a while, i'd still rather be cool for that time frame than sweat through my pants. Bob says elevation is best during the summer time which is why he goes to Colorado. I don't know if you have to stay in Texas or not, but it's an idea.

@@Takingajourney_ if you get a 500 watt inverter (pretty inexpensive) and hook it up to your battery, then plug your power station into this allows your power station to charge at 500 watts . You have to be idling or driving though.
