I love at 11:09 when he sings Cold Wind in August. This past August I have been thinking about that song when I'm at the pool and I feel the wind.

Finally found this again, after having watched a couple days ago. At the end of Moondance, when he starts doing that thing with his tongue for a long time... then says, "my face is wet" LOL priceless!! (I can die happy now)

Anyone else notice Van is wearing same outfit as he did 4 months prior in "The Last Waltz"? Presume he took it off in between time. Excellent live rendition of "The Eternal Kansas City", but wish the ghost of Jimi Hendrix would get his finger off the tape.

Are all these Van Morrison’s songs? I know Moondance is obviously. But Heavy Connection, Cold Winds. Etc i don’t recognize? Great songs especially with Van the Man singing them!

Thanks a lot for the upload Andrew - this is kind of special! Never knew Van played with George Benson and that's a pretty powerful duet they put together! I'm very interested in the' A Period of Transition' album from which four of the cuts are taken - a lot of critics and biographers bash it, but I believe it was a high point in a lot of ways - superb arrangements, precise playing from super musicians and wonderful singing from Van and his backing singers. His band were outstanding - some of the best soul/R&B musicians in the business are on those recordings - Paulette Parker, Dr. John, Reggie White, Ollie Brown, Marlo Henderson. Hard to find info on what recording studio they used - does anybody know? Thanks again!
