Shaqiri the PowerCube no we were at home. We also lost many other games at home to teams like Preston and Blackburn and we deserved to only missed a couple of games last season we were crap
The love Robin had for Sir Alex was uncanny. Strange to see, particularly this day and age, such a close relationship between player and manager. Fitting for Fergies final year really. To have a world class player think the world of him.
Van Persie should’ve stayed at united and retire here. Bloody van gaal and his stupid decisions of letting Rafael, chicharito and di Maria go. Maybe di Maria pushed his luck but still.
yeah but LVG also tried push youngsters into the first team so credit to him for that. the signings sucked and the guys he sold I don't see why they should have been sold but he did try bring through these young players. McNair was good under LVG I thought then Jose sold him I believe. it was LVG who promoted Marcus Rashford who is pretty overrated but still. also Martial performed well under LVG so his stay in Manchester wasn't a complete fail. also won an FA Cup. united even in the bad years can still win trophies
Was disappointed to see Hernandez go. He's the size of nothing but he can nick a goal, still got good pace and lethal in the air. Even Jose said he woud not have sold him.
Very fucking touching. Feel for RVP - a true professional, even without knowing it was to be Ferguson's final season. He is top class and still gave his all to the later managers. Always will be held in very high esteem by United fans - and one of the main reasons for winning Premier League that year. No doubt about that. Sublime professional. 😎❤
Number 20 scoring his 20th goal to (almost) win the 20th title! That's why he celebrated so much. Also it was to clarify he COULD do it on a 'windy day' :/ in Stoke
Not the topic of the video, but notice how good Kagawa’s movement is. In this play he pulled defenders away from van Persie and managed to find free space on the far post. Could have scored if van Persie wasn’t tripped.
He is high fiving Valencia with one hand and goes to high five Rooney with the other which makes it look like he is going to hug him given the camera angle
MORABY Ridwaan Salah got more goals in his first season at Liverpool and wasn’t a proven player unlike RVP. Salah has had 2 brilliant seasons where as RVP only had 1 for United (yes he only had 1 because Sir Alex left)
So you googled 'Biggest Football Clubs in Asia? Good one Inspector Morse. Actually, I spent several months there and saw people wearing their shirts on a daily basis, as well as framed posters of their players in shops and bars, bumper stickers on the back of cars and even Liverpool branded motorbikes. They love it. Funnily enough, I did speak to the locals about football while I was there. When they find out you're British, the first thing they ask you is 'who's your team?'
First of all, Ferguson has a big impact on his players. Just like Wenger. Van Persie was going trough a little bit of a rough time for the first time in Man Utd. Fergie kept on trusting him and finally he scored. This was his way to show how he appricated the trust that Fergie gave him.
@Adam Dawson Its immaterial what U call ppl like me. in the end we are supporters. yea we were not born in Manchester or England. But just like alot of U we grew up loving the clubs we support. atleast I can speak for myself. I said he was born to play at United cos all the time he spent at Arsenal was to prep him for the ultimate football experience "PLAYING FOR UNITED" . it was always meant to be. I reckon Law played for both United and City. GGMU
If anyone had told me that RVP scoring after almost 2 months would be so emotional for me I would have denied but hell it was sooooo emotional. Am glad be finally came through. GGMU. haters don't take it personally. He was born to play at United, it had been written since hte begining of time. hahahahaha!!!
Mary is 100% right, United have the most fans worldwide for a reason. But because not everybody is fortunate enough to afford a trip to Old Trafford week in week out they're assumed glory supporters? If people solely supported a team because they win everything, everybody would be supporting Barca. In places like Korea for example where United are huge, Park Ji-Sung is their biggest sportsperson, who played for United for years which leads to them supporting the team their idol plays for.
Using the term BPL automatically renders your comment invalid. I'll tell you what he got in return: an education from one of the best managers in football history with the best track record of developing average players into world class players in the British game, the experience of playing alongside some of the most incredible players to ever grace a football pitch, seven years worth of medical treatment for his near constant injuries and belief in his ability all that time from the manager.
