CAse-1.- (+ve deviation) A---B bond(or interactions) is weaker => A,B bond length will be longer => they will occupy more volume 4. Case-2.-(-ve deviation) A----B bond(or interactions) is stronger =>A,B bond length will be shorter => they will occupy less volume=> hope it would be useful
