Bob, you have created such an amazing legacy by inspiring so many people to take the leap into a nomadic life! Thanks for your service to humanity in your videos, the RTR, WRTR, and Van Build events, the Caravans, and the new Homes on Wheels Alliance. We hope we will meet you someday to thank you in person.
Smart and well-planned. No wonder they get along so well. I think they thought of everything. I love it when a plan comes together and seeing 2 people work like a well-oiled machine is refreshing!
Yes, we can do this! After 30 years in the same spot, I'm selling and moving into a Promaster with my disabled daughter! She's 23 and it's time for fun and adventure surrounded by Ma Nature. Thank you Bob, it's because of your channel this is my immediate future
I loved it when they said.."We like each other, alot"! What a great van..and, yes you would have to like each other alot to live in a van with 2 people and large dog.. another great video Bob.
What I like about Bob's videos and his channel is that it's drama free and he features topics that are actually useful such as other van tours, product reviews and ideas on locations to boondock..btw..Thule is pronounced "Toola" ...the "H" is silent..call them and you will see!!! haha
More and more I am thinking it is better to customize myself. This couple is an excellent example of what can be done with ingenuity about what works. Thank you for sharing.
Hi I was born in Frisbie Memorial. Spent a lot of young life visiting Grammie and aunts in East Rochester. AM now since 1959 living in Nashua. Enjoy your trips.
Loving the positivity! I long to wake up in the desert, take a walk while drinking morning coffee, check out the tracks from the night before! It would be more awesome to have a partner to share with? Or would it?😂😂
the forest service is citing people for not having an address???!! wow. How is that constitutional? That needs to be challenged. Being houseless is not a crime and it shouldnt be prosecuted.
The Home Plate Special Folks you need to look up Common law and legislation law. Many of these legislation laws they are imposing on people are not lawful. They go against our common law rights. They are being used to kerb our rights and freedom and penalty taxes. They are only enforceable by consent. If they ask you. Answer with a question. Am I obliged to answer that question?
I guess they'd have to follow the cool temperatures because it could get pretty hot in a van with only a fan for ventilation. Love him and they make a cute couple. Great idea to use colorful pattern on ceiling.
Great information from this couple. It is nice to see a couple living exactly as me, my wife, and our Border Collie will be living starting in Sept 2019!
Bob: thanks for sharing Ann and Guy. I also have a Ford and many of the same things they have. its just fun to see other peoples houses(on rubber) thanks Bob for all you do.
I’m constantly amazed at people’s innovations in all walks in life. I’m finding the Nomads that I’m seeing in your videos are the kind of people I want to be connected with.
Fantastic van build. I like how you spent money on quality equipment where you had to and then improvised with creative solutions on the rest. I wish you all the best in your travels!
Wow ! great energy ideas, bedding adaptation!! real furniture! magnetic fan cover to match the lovely ceiling design. Such humble folks living simply! Thx Bob and the address unknown couple!
What a great setup! I love the furniture that turned into instant cabinets. The pantry/medicine cabinet is great too. Folding toilet, (that power thing is EXPENSIVE but I guess that charges by solar), and everything else is just perfect. Very impressed. Nice job and great vision for the end product.
“Live Free or Die” is their state motto, and they’re doing it! I really enjoyed the tour and it gave me a lot of ideas...I think I’m going with the older style cargo van for my build.
Your bed extension is pretty clever. In my vintage trailer, I kinda did something similar. I need to be wider, and so a small center connection gets the job done. With Rv's etc. etc., it's like Grandpa always said, "You can't program innovation; it's just inside of you".
right? How cool! roof>insulation>fabric>wood strips. I've been trying to figure out a way to get around mounting the wood to the metal, then adding plywood on that. Seems a waste of headroom. This is awesome. I'm off to their channel to find out more about the insulation they used.
THANK YOU! Finally someone not just throwing eis directly into the chest. I really never understood why people would do that instead of using containers and then use the meltwater for dishes or washing (or even drinking if the container is clean...)
When using my Coleman Electric Cooler I've put ice inside a container. That way leakage doesn't get in the electric fan! But hadn't thought of doing it in a regular cooler.
Hi this is a Sailor and his dog, the encouragement is good, I believe many people do think about it but don't know how to prepare! Everybody says first buy a van....then they stop the conversation. It takes homework and study to make the decision to go nomadic, I have been doing it for a year and truly enjoy the life. I agree that many states dislike people living in their vans and they believe we are homeless, wait until they get too retirement age and become empty nester's they will be looking for freedom. Happy camping. This Sailor is out...
I looooooooooooooooove the material that they used 4 the headliner in the van...very cool...actually the overall look inside the van is very nice, all the patterns & hues compliment each other quite well, tastefully done...
I can do that....I'm slower than I thought I would be, but I'm trying not to be so picky so I can hurry up. But...I don't want to have to do somethings over. I've found out during my senior life, to just accept my beginning way and drive away to somewhere. Thanks Bob for another great video. From Central Oklahoma.
Thanks Bob and yes I did I drink protein all the time never thought of putting ice in them. That was great, I don’t throw them away anyway I use them to store food in. Now I have something else to use them for as well. Great van for 2
(I can do that!) When he expressed how "at home" they are in the van, I could totally relate. My patina '67 VW is sanctuary and perfect....every time my dog and I are within its iconic time capsule-ness, we're genuinely content and happiest!
Hey I'm from good old NH!! Ihave to wait for my daughter to graduate college and settle down before I can go fulltime but the more ppl I see do it the itchier my feet become!! Awesome van build, I take notes from all these videos for my van.. Great people in all your videos Bob and this couple is no exception!!
Hi! Wow 2 videos in 2 hours! Impressive hard work ethics! Love the tour: very simple and practical minimalist dream on wheels! Cute dog as well! Thank you for sharing
