This is brilliant! Great video! I thought I was subscribed but no idea what happened so subscribed again! 🙂 Well done guys! Your van looks amazing! Happy travels 😀 Looking forward to more of your trips away
Love the layout. So practical and easy to get to things. Just revising my own build having seen yours. That easy to access front cabinet and shelves at the back, just make sense and great use of space too. Like the way you have integrated the fridge into the cabinet and the flip up bench for a table or extra work surface for the kitchen.
thank you!! like we said we cant take all the credit for it. but as far as the mid size vans go we think this is the best use of space. good luck with your build!
Congratulations guys!!! 🎉 🚐 We just love seeing people live out their dreams like us. Hey it may not be completely organized but still lots of nice space there in the back. Charging is crucial for vanlife… especially when you’re RU-vidrs! Good call. Ohhh nice… a snack cupboard up front! Taking notes on that one. Your general layout is the same as ours was when we were van-lifing. We loved it! So much thought has gone into your van. Thanks for sharing guys! Excited to be new subscribers and follow the adventures ahead of you! 😊
Ah thank you so much! We appreciate the words of encouragement more than you know! Our first setup was SO different to this, it's so nice having all the thought out, custom touches, especially since it still is regularly used as a work van! But couldn't agree more - we love seeing people just get out there and make it happen, figuring it out along the way! Such an empowering journey! 🙌 Happy to have you here! - Jamie
Very nice build! So is it all modular to make it easy to swap the camping setup out for the work setup? I had a campervan when I used to work on the road but now that I've went into the handyman business I want to make another, similar to yours so I can swap stuff out to use it for work and travel. Also, one very important thing you're missing - a hole in the floor with a funnel and hose connected to it for taking a pee. Easy, discreet, and more environmentally friendly than the chemical toilet 👌
hey mate! thanks for jumping on this channel and watching this one. the kitchen sort of stays, the sink and the shelf on top of it come out, and then another benchtop goes on top, then I can put tools on it and under it. the shelves behind the driver seat stay but the buckets get swapped out and one set of buckets in the shed has work stuff, and one has camping stuff. the bed obviously stays but there is a black rubber mat that goes over the top of it, then I have 3 big buckets that sit along it, that have power tools, different plaster timed bases, and then the last bucket has drop sheets. Finally, that whole back section is totally modular and comes out, and plaster sheets can slide from the back door down the center of the van. as for the pee whole. never thought of that genius , I need to get one for the office when we do the mma streams haha cheers man! speak to you soon
Hi there 'great van, can u plz plz tell me wat is the difference between memory foam n high density foam plz 'ai once n for all i just need to ask someone, thank you so much n again great great job on the van just lov it 'wishing my lil star wagon gl was a little longer like your's but i guess we must be happy wit wat we have Ya.. cheers from the blue mountains of nsw..
Hi Dave! thanks for stopping by and checking out our video! I am not 100% but I do know that our mattress is described as a high densitry foam mattress and it does include mutiple layers of different types of foam including a 'gel memory foam' for coolness. The exact mattress we have is a 'Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress' - you will be able to find all the specs on the website if you type that into google! In comparison, our old mattress was made out of custom cut foam that we got from Clark Rubber, I believe it is similar to the type of foam you would have inside outdoor furntiure cushions / day bed type situation. It was great for a bit but eventually it wore down within the first year and it felt like we were sleeping directly on the wooden slats of our bed so we went with a proper mattress this time around and cut it to size! it's been amazing so far and so comfortable. so, will be keen to see how it holds up long term especially compared to our last one! - I hope that gave a bit more clarity and was helpful! reach out if you have any other Q's happy to help if we can! and we appreciate your feedback on the van! we love it too. And you are so right - being happy with what you got, we find ourselves dreaming of a bigger setup, but sometimes it's nice to remember someone would LOVE to have what you have, so really gotta enjoy where you are at as much as you can! :) All the best - Jamie
