And Chrome- don't stress about the parts you didn't film! You'll have them next year. I've gone across Canada 35+ times ( I stopped counting because it became ridiculous to tell people 28 times, 29 times, etc) and there is always so much to see EVERY FREAKIN TIME. No I'm not bored yet, don't think I'll ever be ! 🇨🇦 I just freaking LOVE living in such a vast country that you could explore it for all your life & never run out of new things to see. i also do tend to go back to the same places, because I make friends, adopt coffee shops & places to stay. A mix of familiar & new. WHAT A BLESSED LIFE WE LIVE being able to travel & ENJOY EVERY DAY 💖
RU-vid is your business that is providing you with a living .your travel expenses are a business cost .People would not watch unless you provide good content .I enjoy seeing the great places you visit -keep it up
Just a suggestion, as you find a few flat rocks for leveling just toss them in the van when you leave. Might put off the expense of leveling blocks for a few extra months. Great video as always Chrome. Have a great day.
I'm so glad you made it there. Because of my money and time constraints, I had to do the whole 300km Cabot Trail in one day on my motorcycle. Awesome ride, I have no regrets, but I missed so many things that I need to go back and see them all.
I’m going to be forced to live this lifestyle Soon and I wish ppl like you lived in Australia 🇦🇺 we don’t have van lifers like this here they are few and far between, it makes life more pleasant when you have little communities that you can connect with. Your vids are awesome mate you have a heart of gold keep rockin on oxox
"Not down here they're not" Correct. I love your videos, I love the lifestyle. I'm looking forward to hitting the road soon with four dogs, a jet ski and road bike. Can't wait! You're very inspiring...
We look forward to waking up every morning just to watch your latest video! We loved Cabot Trail and can't wait to go back one day! We agree that the lifestyle is 100% different from East Coast to West Coast.
Chrome - cracking open a beer and not drinking it, constitutes "Alcohol Abuse"…at it does down here in Texas…really been digging you Eastern travels…I lived in Maine for 3 years…many moons ago and I used to visit the area around Machias and Cutler, Maine on the Bay of Fundy and I was blown away by the extreme tidal actions… BTW, better drink that beer, eh! …Scooter - in East Texas!
Love your enthusiasm and honesty to us viewers Chrome. Another great video. You just have a "knack" for it. Filmography? Be safe bro. Stay weird. ~Mike T • Las Vegas, NV USA
Good Morning Chrome and puppy boy Cruz. I'm really enjoying your travels. Your really capturing, the beauty our country has to offer. Yes, I'm sure it's getting quite pricey, to be travelling here. Especially with the prices of our gas. However, on the same token, the memories your making, not only for yourself, but all of us as well, will last a lifetime. The videos and pictures are with more than 1,000 words. Also, your getting quite a nice sock collection. ✔, which is awesome. Thank you for all you do.🐶😊🇨🇦❤
SOCKS are always a good purchase. I love the ones at the Nanaimo ferry terminal. They have all these colors in them & THEY DON'T MATCH!! (They are all same pattern, same bunch of colors in each pair but the color placement varies from the left sock to the right). I wear them in a TON of my videos in BC! Now it's gotten a bit too chilly.🧦🧦🧦 OK, Izzy out! (4 comments on 1 video LOL )
I love the moose socks! Totally worth it. You have to treat yourself, and a shirt and socks are a necessity. Thank you for showing your beautiful Canada. I hope someday I can see it in person. Love your vids!
You go and enjoy yourself while I sit here looking very hard for a van, you put the spring back in my step, I have to go and see the sea, smell the ocean feel the air while listening to all my favourite music, safe travels chrome and cruise, x
Chrome, go to Judique, cape breton. They have the greatest fiddlers in the world, ashley MacIssac, Natalie MacMasters, Her Uncle Buddy MacMasters. Their cayleighs are called Judique on the floor and they are the best I am told. My mother is from there and came to Boston when she was 16 with a couple of her sisters to work as maids for the wealthy( they would send money back home to help her other siblings back on the farm, 13 in all ). She became a U.S. citizen but always remained that girl from Cape Breton Island, she made me listen to the music. which I hated as a kid but at 52 I love this music and her stories. I've never been down home or down east, but one day I will make it for Judique on the floor and visit some reletives. Keep up the great work Chrome, glad I found your channel.
We call our parks, national parks and state parks here in the u.s. there are park passes available for both, however I belive depending on the rules to pay, ( per year, or season, or whatever ) might be different. In Dallas Txis not free parking, lol
Leveling blocks are fine , I had them , but stopped using them . I found a couple of 2x6 and a pc of 3/4 plywood scrap was much more useful. They can be used for so much more than leveling. Stop by any construction site and they will have plenty for free.
I did that drive last year in 1 day. Lots of up and downs. There were a couple cool spots to stop for the night outside of the national park. It was windy and you can hear the waves crashing all night long.
Hi Chrome, last year we did the Cabot Trail and a super epic spot is Meat Cove!! It’s soooo worth the trip! There’s pods of whales and you can hear them breathing from their blow holes! And there’s a great shack for the best seafood 🦞 chowder.....you gotta try it....oh oh oh and Peggey’s Cove.....there’s a lobster 🦞 trailer to pick you own and price is SUPER reasonable! ENJOY!! We live in an epic beautiful country!!
Drop in's at community rec centers are great too...if your gym isn't around. They are usually around 6 dollars and you can grab a shower, go for a swim, and grab a ht tub or sauna.:)
Ah can’t Venice you were out in my province a year ago hope you enjoyed Nova Scotia you make me want to start van like out on the west coast more and more everyday
Nice Vlog Chrome!! Juste drove from Montreal, Quebec to Regina, Saskatchewan, drove 1350kilometers yesterday and 1160km the day before, stoped at Walmart for the night on the way in Northbay, Ontario and stoped at Thunderbay, Ontario’s walmart as well for the night. Lots of Campers still at those locations. Staying a few days helping a fellow vanlifer here in regina then continuing west to Banff, Alberta and onto Vanvouver, BC to see my Son I havent seen in 13 years!! “Keep on rockin in the Free World!!” 🌲🌲🌲🌈🌈🌈🚐🚐🚐... see you back in BC Chrome! ( Econoline E-250 )
1. Pitch the white socks, they are not you. The moose socks are aewsome. 2. The leveling blocks are great! I used them, love them. I had 20 total and that worked.
I have a pass to get into some parks but not all. The pass is a great things to have. I used to have the same problem with buying socks everywhere I went to.
Awwww, I was supposed to be in Nova Scotia this weekend (from Vancouver). Not going to make it, otherwise I would meet up with you! I’m glad you arrived after the hurricane!
Great miming! Lol New subscriber, your videos are fantastic and the chance to see Canada for this lower 48 US states inhabitant. Hi from PNW Washington. Safe Travels, Hugs and Luvs! Susan&Karen PS Stay Weird!
Buy TRI-LEVELER brand, they are the best and are as implied, made to raise your vehicle to any one of THREE (3) positions. BUY TWO or THREE blocks, which will correct any situation (Front to Rear & Side to Side at the SAME TIME)
In America, we have National Parks and State Parks. I live in Colorado and buy a yearly state park pass. Normally $80 I by the visor park pass for ($120) and I can move it from vehicle to vehicle.
Here in Indiana the parks people have been for the most part really nice and knowledgeable.... as for the expense right now .... you are sorta on vacation ..... so just do it ....
Want to feel better about those expensive socks? Cost average the cheap ones and the expensive. Check out the folk galleries at Cheticamp Island and Grand Etang really friendly people. Beer and gas prices are wicked high but worth it. Check out the downhill ski area on the north Atlantic side.it just sold for $375k.....IMAGINE! N.S. is the best!
I LOVE the Cabot trail!! Hubby is just leaving the trail today. So beautiful there. Check ot the skyline trail, almost always sees a moose there. The kauzman trail, I haven't been on, but looks epic and it's only a 2km hike. The Gaelic college is fun to check out, Wednesday night they have music and maybe at lunch everyday.
#LiveYourPassion Luv you Chrome and Cruz !! Normal Life Sucks !! Weirdos Unite !! #FindYourFreedom ❤️ 🌞 🚐 🇺🇸 🐾 🐾 DISCO, you will forever be in my heart !! ❤️
I just found you and I love you and disco....Now you have me yearning to see canada wtf I was planing to travel my country lol....Blessings from Michigan...I will send you the money for those socks lol...is our money worth the same? or more?
Omgosh I'm loving the socks. I'm going to find the wildest sock yarn in my (umm way to much according to hubby) stash and make you a special pair. Please reply with your shoe size ❤. Also wasnt that Pei bridge pricy my daughter was there last summer and commented on that. I have friends on PEI wish I knew that was next stop could have hooked you up with warm food, shower and parking. Waiting patiently for you to make it back along to Niagara or Toronto region.
Hey Chrome, been following you for a bit. Only parks passes I have are state and national in the U.S. to park in. There is city parks but they close and no parking. Hope that helps
At least the fees at national and provincial parks include "hot" showers, for some definition of the word hot. One downside to national park campgrounds is it is not permitted to use any wood or kindling, even downed wood, for fires. C$7 a bundle.
I know that in Texas you can get a state park pass that will last for one yea,r and usually after you used it four or five times it has paid for itself in your daily camping fees. I think I have heard on other RU-vid channels that the national park system also has a similar thing in terms of getting an annual pass. I don't know if Canada has a similar system, but look into that for future travels as that may be a form of saving some money. P.S. LOVE the socks ! You might as well enjoy yourself.
Parks Canada has an annual Discovery Pass, around C$65 for individual, around C$135 for family. Chrome mentioned that he had one in this video. This covers entry fees, but not camping.
@@vibrolax interesting. I think it's the same down here but , I have not used our Texas Parks and Wildlife annual passes in over 25 years as after my husband died I sold the RV. Since we only went into a couple of national parks on any of our vacations we just went on and paid the entry fee and camping fees that were listed, but I'm sure it's much the same as it is in Canada.
