It isn’t easy - thats for sure - but if I’ve learned anything through mistakes and trial and error - it’s this - the sooner you start, the sooner you adapt and figure it out.
Looks like ya'll had a great time up there. I'm hoping to make a Maine trip soon, and maybe pop across the border and poke around NS for a couple of days.
@@PeachStateOverland My husband and I live in Halifax and are heading since to CB tomorrow to explore these trails, as part of our "2 weeks of exploring Nova Scotia" trails plan.. We are both back to work in 3 weeks so having a 2 week long overland adventure from Halifax, to CB to explore, then heading across Scotia towards the south shore for our final week!.. Thanks for the reply!!
Lunamaria very cool! If you need more guidance reach out to Cape Breton Overland on Instagram. They guided us and they were amazing! Tell them we sent you!
I originally lived in British Columbia where there is countless miles of limitless overlanding to be done.. I have been in Halifax for 4 years now and own a 4Runner TRD Off Road, as well as just bought a 2020 Defender, so i'm looking for some overland closer to home.. People have suggested Cape Breton but I was always quick to dismiss it.. I gotta admit, CB looks great!.. We are planning a trip to start this week?.. How long is this route?
David MacDougall we went East from Cheticamp. You should absolutely reach out to Cape Breton Overland on Instagram. I think access to Cape Clear is mapped into google maps though.
Really nice my dad said in 1985 Canada donate train engines under the name of nova Scotia I want my daughter to go work & study tks best rgds visit sri lanka
All lots of fun I guess but I'm sorry to say that we can't afford to live this way anymore. People are flying and driving all over the world burning up fossil fuels as fast as they can and it is not sustainable... Not only that it is killing the planet.
