I asked our local Estonian shop's owner if she could get some Vanamehe tops to sell and she was like yeah sure and today she contacted me to tell the ice cream had arrived. And oh god it was good. Much love to Estonia from Finland
@@akshljgdtgp kind of. Estonian is a weird one for us finns. It sounds so much like finnish whenever someone speaks it but often the words might mean something entirely different. So a weird finnish sounding video combined with this silly horror is comedy gold to us :D None of the other northern languages sound anything like Finnish. It's just Estonians that sound like us.
For finnish persons thank you in estonian is pretty funny and confusing. Aitäh could be understood as "Ai täh?" which is something you could say for example when someone tells you something and you don't really get it, and say something like: "what" or "huh"
Ihan ok, mut ootko lukenu tartu postimees lehdestä jutun kass paksu jäi maja räästasse kinni :D siinä esiintyy koko põltsamaa päästekeskus palomeesi eli myös eesti keel eläin pelastüs fanit saavat nauraa ja naurattaahan se tietty myös vaikka kass paksun tupla leuka ja muut :D kannattaa lukee nopee!
Translations from someone who speaks Finnish but not Estonian: - Trail father (vanaisä) - Mmm, traditional Finnish Easter dessert made from rye flour (mmm, mämmi) - Hey trail father, where's clear sky? (vanaisä missä sees?) - Flesh (lihaa) - Well where is it, where is clear sky? (No missä on, mis on sees?) - Trail man's lit af (vanamehe jäätis) - That lit af is so tasty, so full of claws, so taste salt and owns candies (se jäätis on niin maittava, niin kourainen, makusalt ja karamellinen) - Trail father, where is the problem? (Vanaisä missä vika on?) - lit af LMAO mint (jäätis huutis mint) - Ei! - That lit af stooge you are impaled with nails (se jäätis toope, naulattu sinä olet) I had to stop because I got scared of the impaling flesh man
i visited Estonia last weekend (second time after about ten years) and tried that ice cream and i must say it is one of the best ice creams i have ever eaten
