Home buyers across Metro Vancouver have come back with a strong start to 2024, with sales up over 38% compared to this time last year.
After a somewhat slow and uneventful end to 2023, there were many indicators pointing to a busy spring market. What we didn’t expect was that it activity would start to pick up so early.
While we ended the year balanced market territory, market conditions in January have started shifting back in favour of sellers as the pace of newly listed properties did not keep up with the increased demand in some market segments.
