Vancouver must have lots of money and any shortfall will be covered by the taxpayer who will not be able to afford tickets to the event.

Tourists can come to see all tent cities in North America....Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle. Philly, LA, SF......

Yay! We get to help rich people get richer! And more rich people can buy property here and move here so we can continue to have skyrocketing house prices and rents that locals cannot afford. Trickle down economics NEVER works but let's do it anyway!
