Smt Radha Venkataraman had her initial training in vocal and veena in Karaikal from Mrs Hema and Sri Ramalingam. She was selected for a Govt. scholarship and came under the tutelage of Sri Lalgudi in the year 1990. Radha is also proficient in Sanskrit and considers it a blessing to have received her Guru’s guidance in setting tune to various songs and dance dramas. With a diploma from Kalakshetra, and M.Phil in music Radha has served as a faculty at the Brahaddhwani institution. She has been performing vocal concerts in all the leading Sabhas and has been teaching both vocal and veena with dedication for the past 30 years.
