For an organization that preaches Discipline and Honor, there seems to be a lacking atmosphere of that with predators like these rapists/killers representing them.
That's not an environment for women.... women's lib has damaged our society like women can do whatever they want. There are jobs for women, art jobs. A woman will never be seen as an equal in the army. You have to be grandfathered in. It's an archaic system that is still in place. If you don't like it, you can always leave. To any woman wanting to enlist: you should really think about what you're doing. Maybe being a teacher or a nurse is a better career choice.
You also forgot straight pedophiles - trust me, all four military branches have been infested with these creeps and weirdos, it's so gross! Now I understand why they allow recruiters into highschool (starting at approximately 17 years old). There's a lot of stories that have been hidden or removed from the public that we don't know about. There's more to the story.
I was a soldier at Ft hood when Vanessa went missing and it was extremely heartbreaking during the search and the discovery of her remains. My heart goes out to the families of all of my fallen brothers and sisters in arms families that have to go through this pain. Y’all are in my prayers.
Apparently, there have been plenty of murders and “suicides” going on around Ft. Hood for years. They’ve been getting covered up. Its an old problem and clearly has something to do with the higher ups at the base. Top brass has always been the issue.

When the government starting closing bases years ago, made others bigger, it became harder to control all people on them, to see and understand what is happening. Need to go back to smaller installations. It like looking at small towns vs big towns, people are less likely to commit crimes in smaller towns because they know they are going to get caught and people are more likely to see who commits crimes.
