I'm Filipina. My mom has Chinese ancestry, my dad has Spanish ancestry. And I totally relate when Vanessa said it's hard to get that perfect shade when most concealer or foundation come out as pink.

We all have some Chinese and Spanish in us but it’s so wrong when those who are obviously sooo Filipino claim to be mixed because of the 1% of something else.

@@nmbnmbnmbGirl she didn’t claim to be anything else. She said because her mom is Filipino with a bit of Chinese and Spanish, their skin undergone is difficult to pinpoint when looking for concealers and foundations. Also, Vanessa is mixed/biracial. Her father is white. She’s only half Asian.

@Prim Grimm Most Filipinos have Chinese and Spanish ancestry but we don’t claim to be either unless we have a parent that is actually Chinese or Spanish.

Aaaah yes!!!! I use bronzer, blush and highlight in my eyes too and some eyeshadows. Thank you for that! It’s such a vibe to have a monochromatic look with eyes and face products. It’s my fav and such a mood - for me at least.

I can’t take how chill and relaxing and completely beautiful and down to earth this video is. Love her. Way too beautiful for words. Btw I totally understood her underlying message in the beginning of Covid. People got butt hurt for no reason in my opinion. People die. Covid just made more people die more quickly. It was out of our control.

The issue people had was that she still wanted lockdown to end prematurely so that she attends Coachella,not because she said people are always going to die
