A perfect musical acompanyment to a great underrated European film, as a soundtrack you cant do better, perfectly matching the tone of the film, that dares to be honest about all our deepest emotions that we have, but fear, all very indulgent.
Not even as Vangelis has been so scoring, matching and prolific since the baroque composers and equitable in quality and qualify of partitures and creativity like these. He definitely has passed to the history memories for over centuries. His legacy it will be alive after our own death to the people who lives in the 21 century. He will be also brilliant after. How can you not? Actually I re-watched the film recently with a good friend and he found the romantic part "cheesy" while I found it sweet and touching. But we both agreed that the horrific abuse of Mimi was brutal.
Wow. I'm filled with goosebumps. One of my favorite films growing up. Before mp3s existed, I somehow found someone in Europe who managed to rip the score from scenes in the film, just like the ones you hear in this track. How I treasured that casette tape!

Película en el estilo de Polanski... relaciones tormentosas donde los sentimientos desbordan en emociones intensas y pasiones descontroladas que ponen al límite la relación de pareja. Una película llena de provocación donde se pone a prueba hasta donde puede llegar la vida conyugal cuando se ha terminado el amor y en su lugar predomina la dominación y el odio. La música de VANGELIS es un plus añadido... Como siempre genial ... por cierto los dos eran buenos amigos.dos talentos cada uno en su estilo..
