A sort of medley of Vangelis tunes performed live using my favourite V sounds, I tried using ableton for realtime recording for the piano, bloody tricky:)
I've been listening to the maestro's music for 35 years now and as most of you know, he's never been much of a live performer. Even though I'm past my first bottle of wine, which usually awakens my senses, I have to say that this live performance of Vangelis' music has to be the most beautiful thing I have heard so far. Buddy! I am a composer because of V. I hear music because of him. I did not perform live because I believed in what he did but this...you are now making me doubt. You truly capt
I have been a Vangelis fan for decades and this is a sensational interpretation and mosaic mix of some of my favorite songs. Well done and you should be proud of your gift - Thank you for sharing with all of us to enjoy.... Blessings!
YES! This reimagining brings back themes and memories in so many albums and tracks together in one place. Still an exploration of deep nostaligia and adventures of the mind's eye.
You really got talent !! You really have captured Vangelis DNA in your music, and not many people have done that successfully. Keep up the great work ! - Daniel
I remember my Art Teacher at school showing me how to paint waves...I vividly remember the 'Butterflies' in my stomach when he finished painting...Your talent gives me the same emotion....Thanx
Weiter so!
This is truly beautiful. It catches a feeling of isolation and dread, but also a loving beauty in the untouched places that mankind cannot fathom into a thought. That's just what i think, but i really love this piece. Hopefully you'll be releasing more albums this year.
McLovin' Egbert Great wording, it creates that magic good/bad... Whew, I took off there for a second.....I found myself here thru youtube channel nemesis maturity Thank you all!
Wow. That's great. I have no words to describe your performance. It's just brilliant. I enjoyed especially The Bounty part. Hope to hear more of your performances. I wish you all the best
You know it's a long time since I made this...I think I can actually watch it now even with all the mistakes I can see it's enjoyable:)...and to moodyblue 1964 I'm with you. There will never be another Vangelis:)
Well, I can't help myself, but I must write once more that everything you play captures the whole Vangelis spirit ... please go on ! Cheers Mike ! Richard
Wonderfully played. I like the original Vangelis too. You captured the spirit of his very well, and then added some :-) my hat's off to you. Have a great weekend :-) Cheers!
This is really great!!! I am a vangelis fan, and synth player.. and I wish I can bring all the vangelis atmosphere as you can do!!! I am addicted to your videos
There are many whos try to mimic Vangelis, you seem to have caught his spirit like the breathing like also the kind of sounds, better with original material anyway, the reverb sounds great, a great for him today for his 70th birthday!! Thanks to be and make all this.
