The power of Vangelis is that he can make amazing dreamesque sounds with anything ... even basic synth... he perfectly managed effects.

I thought the singer was Jon Anderson at first. Sounds very much like him.

And to think, this is probably not long before Vangelis was approached by Jon Anderson to audition for Yes. It was probably this very keyboard rig that was in the studio when Patrick Moraz walked in and they started work on Relayer. Heady stuff.

Vangelis is now known for his synths.Here he uses various voices to great effect.I wish he would return to this way of working.Synths can be great,but have little percussive range.And can sound harsh in a bad way.
