Yes. I was thinking the same thing. Ominous and foreboding with a hint of dark tropical paradise thrown in. Love this version of The Bounty as it's probably more accurate than others. The story of two complicated individuals who begin as friends and just fall out due to the circumstances they found themselves in.
Music befitting the drama that unfolds in this historical real life story of human conflict aboard HMS Bounty! Academy award performance by Antony Hopkins (Captain Bligh) & Mel Gibson (Fletcher Christian)! Yes...by the letter of the law, it was mutiny BUT many (including the Admiralty) though it may have been justifiable! Nevertheless the inquiry exonerated Bligh...a necessary ruling to discourage would be mutineers!
