You had me fooled for a moment there Hank! Nice banjo, I've just bought a banjolele and hope to progress to a full on 5 string banjo and Vangoa seem to be a good starter brand.
I recently purchased one of these, and I must say, I am impressed. I really wasn't expecting too much for the price, but I was wrong. This is a very nice banjo indeed.
I got one of these. If the head is set to a G sharpe tone. It sounds good for what it is. I have mine sitting by my recliner to play. It so light and quieter than my expensive Gibson Scruggs model. For around the house playing it's all someone needs to have fun. Iv also put model rail spikes in for the fifth string capo and a better bridge that I had laying around.
Dude, I love this video! 😂 The start was great by the way. I have been looking at this very model for a good bit, but never heard of a Vangoa banjo before. Thank you for making this video and helping me find my first banjo.
Hey man I was looking at this banjo on Amazon and I saw your review in the reviews and it led me here! Good review! Do you think this would be worth the purchase for a brand new beginner? I’m wanting to learn to play the banjo but have a limited budget haha. So would you say this is worth it or should I look else where since I’m new? Thanks!
Do you think it sounds good? Consider I’m a beginner... if it’s not worthy, could you please advice me something else? Which is, in your opinion, the best banjo for new starters? Thank you in advance
It's not too bad. I would certainly and most likely get a setup after playing on it a while. This one would be a good beginning banjo. Are you in US? I'd be willing to sell you this one at a good price.
I’m not sure about teachers. They’re out there! I’d give a google and see. Maybe there is a lot of info on RU-vid as well. I’m just a guitar player that tinkers in the banjo b
