So cool. You know, I didn't think I wanted another guitar. Shows what I know. LOLOL Such a gorgeous guitar for a fabulous price. It sounds amazing too, but here's the thing about that. I was stunned by how much better it sounded acoustically with jst the room mic, compared to when it was plugged in. Not saying the latter was bad, jst that the live sound was far superior. Esp. surprising, as your little studio environment there, doesn't look like it would add a lot of natural reverb to "fatten up" the sound. Great stuff, Dave. Thanks. Always great to see you in my feed, brother.

Hey man, good to hear from ya again! The acoustic sound is very nice. Never been a fan of plugged in acoustics but if you play gigs live it’s pretty necessary I think.

That seems real cheap, it sounds great. The direct-into-DAW sound was pretty awful though.

Personally I don’t like ANY acoustic plugged in, for this reason. They almost always sound cardboard-y like coming out of a box. Acoustics are pretty nice though.

I would say that in acoustics it has a less soft but more ringing sound..and it seems made for the Beatles .You know Dave,in my ignorance,I thought that a guitar was acoustic or electric..but not both(I confused it with classical)🤭

Yes they make acoustics with a plug in feature so you get the best of both worlds. Beatles did use 12 string guitars but almost always was electric Rickenbacker 12. Lennon might’ve used an acoustic 12 on Hide Your Love Away.

@@DaveRucci Hey Dave. I realize I'm late to this posting and thread. I"m shopping for a 12, called pawn shops to see who's got what, one not too far from me has one of these Vangoa's so I wanted to see your vid.... I'm listening on a pc with two detached speakers, not a phone. I don't hear 'brilliance.' And that guitar is brand new, so the strings are new also.... but I got to wonder about those -- those have to be some cheaper out-of-the-box strings, not something we would put on if we're looking for 'bright/brilliance.' Also I don't hear much sustain. Again, I AM listening to detached speakers, not a phone. In your assessment, having looked it over and played it.... is everything plastic?... bridge-saddle, bridge pins, and nut?... On playback, do you hear a lack of brilliance and sustain also?... or is it just me?...
