Having WAW soundtrack in this level gives us a great reminder of WAW, a successful Call of Duty game, pretty much giving us an idea what would remastered World at War looks like. However, just lacking dark atmosphere, that's it. And after this level, it's Vendetta.
Back then the media blames violent video games claim to school shootings. right now media blames the video games of characters doesn't represent 'certain' characteristics of pride.
That it is like saying that in 2021 you cant top a story written by Tolkien or the Illiad, technology =/= to storytelling and atmosphere, this game have good of the last but lack everything else when it is about to compare the WAW level. You should rethink your comment, mate.
@@mariano98ify I can watch a typical WW2 Hollywood movie instead of buying me a game for 60 bucks. Same thing just in a other format and I hate the whole Vanguard storyline from the beginning. Instead of portraying World War 2 as it is, a bloddy conflict that has consumed so many lives unnecessarily, they make a spinoff full of fantasy. I think you should reconsider your comment, mate.
@@mariano98ify because it's true? With modern graphics & better gunplay, this game still cannot top a mission from a game that was released 13 years ago
The music made the mission a tad bit good, but still doesn't top WaW in terms of Psychological horror and survival. Also you felt like a one man army in Vanguard while in WaW you felt like you were being hunted down
Yeah I didn't like how they made the characters here look like the task force 141 in mw, because this is world war 2, everyone is fighting for their survival.
Polina is the worst example of this by far. Shes the worst character in game. Kingsley was great, I loved fighting with the paratroopers. Briggs was great, I actually had my heart sink when after the battle I looked over and saw Des. Wade was amazing to and outside of a few cringe quips, him Hernandez, and the 93rd were fantastic. Polina was a cringe edgelord and a bitch the entire game. She acted like she was the only one who had lost people. You can just tell she was a woke addition because she's a caricature of what a strong person is supposed to be and she's overpowered to the extreme.
@@AlessandroVillarrealFiestas she's got nothing in common with him other than hate for Germany, but her hatred is childish and edgy. She has no friends, her only deal is "I shoot Nazis. They die. Thats my plan". Reznov wanted to defend his country, his friends and brothers, he wanted revenge, and he wanted justice. He didn't just want to kill Nazis, he wanted to save humanity from evil, and he even sacrificed himself to ensure the world would be saved by helping Mason.
@@klv8037 they wanted the vanguard characters to be like the tf141 funny thing is waw also had a tier 1 unit but they were a unit not just a single soldier
This makes the Overall experience more surreal in my opinion, not gonna lie the Satlingrad mission for this game is actually quite enjoyable, to be honest.
@@itsblitz4437 like it has been in COD 1,Finest Hour,2,World at War and Vanguard atleast Vanguard Campaign isn't doing like Battlefield 1 and 5 with Fictional battles that never happened. Like Billy Bridger,Nordlys and sadly even Last Tiger never happend.Atlest the game play,Level design and Soundtrack is 10/10 despite inaccuracies. Did One Tiger tank taking 70+ Sherman's realistic? It was boring to play despite being memorable and having good characters like Muller,Kertz
You would think after making the MW and BO universes connected. They would just use the classic WAW ost in some missions. Regardless of you're opinion of WAW. It's undeniable that the OST is truly unique for a WW2 game. Instead of Orchestra, we get Rock and Roll. And when we do get orchestra music, it's usually made to sound like a horror movie. Not a WW2 action game.
the first time was finest hour - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DiKznlnaIC8.html the last time was WW2 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xgnxKWbmAmM.html
Glad I saw this, it’s a great video! really shows you how a soundtrack can set the tone so quickly. I also the the cinematic gameplay, it’s always fun to watch!
i still think that this is the perfect opportunity ti bring a WaW remaster, seems like SHG did a great job and his game its actually better than BOCW and well, its quite at MW levels
Nah, they gonna have to change the swastika for that stupid eagle crest or "SS". Because too many SJW and keyboard warrior nowadays. They gonna freak out finding swastika on games.
Im pretty disappointed that this game have no references to reznov or dimitri despite the game already confirmed have black ops in the same universe cuz project nova and project aether is referenced in just plain sight on the ending
@@Raul_Menendez you cant neither steal to Polina "Stong Woman" Petrova her spot, she SAVED STALINGRAD AND WITH THAT THE WAR FOR THE ALLIES, I SWEAR I AM NOT KIDDING, THAT IT IS WHAT THE GAME WROTE, WHAT ABOUT THE MILLIONS OF SOLDIERS THAT DIED FIGHTING FOR THAT? Dimitri and Reznov were outstanding soldiers but at the end of the day, they were just that, soldiers, not fricking superhero....
Call of Duty Vanguard campaign is amazing, but I have an unpleasant perception on the multiplayer and zombies. For multiplayer, it consists operatives fighting amongst each other rather than usual normal soldiers fight each other for their own respective faction, for instance US Marines vs Imperial Japanese Soldiers . Honestly, I have a mixed feelings over operatives; they're great and interesting, coming from their own respective countries. They may be dramatic but I feel they're too dramatic, acting like superheroes and Marvel's Avengers. It'll be interesting if they add Chinese (Communist or Nationalist Kuomintang) and Korean operatives. Maps, I have nothing to complain, but I did see WAW maps which looked impressive. For zombies, when I first see the gameplay, I literally feel I am about to have my knees fall on the floor as if I lost the game, it looks crazy, science fiction supernatural survival horror themes left me speechless. Instead, I like to see zombie mode as classic as World at War, a true survival horror, the zombies looked clean (like WAW Nacht der Untoten and Verruckt zombies) or a little disfigured rather than completely decomposed and disfigured undead. To me, zombies game I own at home, Call of Duty World at War, Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2, and House of the Dead 3 and 4 are better than this. So with that, if I want to play multiplayer and zombies, it's Call of Duty World at War or its remastered version. This is my opinion. Multiplayer 5/10 or 6/10, zombies 3/10.
I love this so much, if they did a reference to Reznov, where the Nazis have her pinned to the ground, and the sound of a mosin nagant shot sounds out from outta nowhere and shoots the Nazi, now that, that would be perfect.
I don’t think they did a very good job with modeling Stalingrad. WAW did it 10 times better. The city was literally reduced to rubble with only a few buildings still standing, and even then they were mostly just the frame of the building. Plus it didn’t take the Germans only a few hours to enter and capture Stalingrad
The problem I see with this world war 2 game is that it’s about an individuals story. Where as world at war only just depicting world war 2 being horror and battle survival. So the world at war music just doesn’t fit this game. Because cod vanguard isn’t about WW2 but about and individuals story which is too easy to do and isn’t anything compared to how cod world at war show the war as just mostly horror. Call of duty world at war was something really special.
