Stevie Smith was my favorite driver till he retired made pa proud

Stevie is probably doing better as a parts manufacturer than he did as a race car driver… and he was a great driver. SmithTI is pretty massive

Hillenburg was my guy growing up. Every time they came to Cottage Grove he was always so generous with his time for pictures and autographs.

The "History Mystery man " does a pretty good interview with him.

Joey's injury at Eldora opened the door for Brad Sweet at KKR. Sweet put the #9 car on the pole at the Knoxville Nationals in that season as a sub. I would argue that Jason Meyers retirement was more abrupt than Hillenburg. Especially coming off of back to back WoO titles.

I think Meyers quit because of his religious beliefs and he wanted to start a family and settle down!

This is awesome! Keep up the great work! Would love to see a video all about the PA Posse since I’m from PA. Also would love to see stop Motion high limit races plus a documentary video possibly on the Tuscarora 50. This would be awesome to see!

My friend races 410's locally in Ohio. Joey and Reece will often park beside us in the back of the pits at Atomic. He's a pretty reserved guy, but if you get into conversation with him he's super nice. Was always one of my racing heroes growing up and getting to interact with him semi-regularly is really neat. I believe Reece is in college and races in his free time for the time being. For being as young as he is he's catching on quick, has a good mentor and lots of good colleagues coaching him along when he comes to Ohio (Cole Duncan, Ryan Broughton, Danny Smith, Josh Davis, Todd Kane to name a few).

Ive always liked Joey Saldana and i remember asking him for a autograph in the pit area at Eldora but he didnt have a marker on him so he told me to come back later that night which i planed on it. Later that night he had a bad wreck and was life flighted and i never got my autograph. They said the wreck was really bad and rumor was going around that you could see blood inside the car.

I think Andy Hillenberg may have to be the most talented driver to disappear from the sprintcar racing industry. I can remember the first time i seen him race at OCFS in Middletown NY and he was exciting to watch and i think he may have one a race there. Sadly OCFS is going to limited schedule this year, so it's a matter of time before it's gone to the Real Estate market after 102 years of racing.

I’ll look into it, haven’t really looked into Australian sprint car racing recently, it’s possible an Australian driver will make it in the next part🇦🇺
