As beautiful as she was she seemed so humble and such an approachable person. I think that's why she will always be loved & missed. I wished she done more movies. Loved her in THE LAST DRAGON. RIP Denise Matthews
Humble and approachable is correct. Even when she was a minister, all one needed to do was email her via her website their phone number and she would call and from an unblocked number. And if by chance one would be near where she was planning on making an appearance (for instance), she would also offer an invite to meet up in person as well. I got a chance to talk with her twice over the phone and she was very talkative. And even though her and I were strangers, the way she'd talked to me, made me feeling like we were friends for years. And just a note. I know I am not the only one that experienced this from her.

Prince could have any woman in the world, but he had Vanity. All the others were second best. Prince and Denise should have married and had beautiful children to carry on the family business.
Few women could match her beauty especially in the 80's but after she turned her back on showbiz she showed her true inner beauty - what a beautiful kind soul! She will be missed greatly, we can take comfort that she completely changed her life around and lived more than 20 years past the time the Doctors told her she had little chance & that she is no longer suffering physically, she dedicated her life to God. Prince never got over her...he moved on...but he never got over her.i think his song"i hate you" was about her....Little Red Corvette was definately about her.When she died ....he performed and dedicated that song to her.SHE WAS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL.HOW COULD U GET OVER A WOMAN LIKE VANITY? That was More important than anything else. She found out the only Real Happiness comes from a Personal Relationship with GOD. Not from the Entertainment Industry, where People only Love You when Your on Top, and only Love You for Your Fame and Fortune, Not for You.
I love Vanity. Her and Vanity 6 got through my late teens and twenties. I love her. My mom was very beautiful too just like Vanity. I’m also a 6’3” 190 pound black guy!
Fun fact she used to come into Saks in NYC all the time and get lingerie and makeup and a guy that works there said “Vanity used to come in here all the time with her FINE ASS!!” He was passionate about how attractive she was. Now that was back in the late 80s when she lived in New York. Now this is the 2000s and he still was impressed with her.
She was so beautiful with that even Joan rivers had to hold her breath her and Prince were clearly made 4 each other but Sadly Prince choose fame over her.

Who’s watching this in 2020. Glad she found Jesus at the end. It’s crazy she died in February of 2016 and Prince died two months later in April. Is that crazy or what. Let me know below what you think happened if there any connections. I’m sure there is but I’m going hold my thoughts until April. 😂
Of course they had and there was a connection the same connection also between Elvis and Doloris Hart., from which She had safer options but none the less went the way of religion. Only God and a few others truly know how close she looked at death when Elvis passed away.

Vanity was smoking hot with great eyes and a butt for the ages. She made really bad choices with guys (her husband of 2 years murdered someone) and drugs. RIP
The woman was beautiful no doubt , but clearly empty.on the inside and parallel to her name, quite vain , its a little sad to watch. I love Denise mathews.
