@@harpoon_bakery162 mine is the same size. The prices are ridiculous. We also have one that’s twice as long and a tub that needs to be done. I think I’ll hire someone refinish them all . Too many to do myself and have them all come out as they should.
@@Mary-671 wow, yep, it's a lot to take on, but I'm probably going to give it a go. other bathroom is longer and tub as well so lot to think about. I'll start with this smaller one 55x22 (the sink is the shape of a clamshell with 2 soap dish ledges inside the sink (making it even harder for good coverage). if you end up doing it, let us know out here in comment land how it went!!! Mine is yellow-ish cultured marble with a smooth real wood maple vanity cabinet, that too is a hard decision but it will be blue , gray , or white to meet the demands of the current color market-place trends / fad. (if you would agree)
I used three colors in my tub it looks like a nice stone tub but I also used a marble effect paint with a little spray paint a heat gun and some rubbing alcohol But I had to do a epoxy clear to seal the paint I like the stone coat stuff because its good epoxy.
Thanks for showing. I have a question for you. Would one not achieve a better finish if all of the figures were removed? I found that when one has to change the fixtures sometimes you are left with the footprint of the old fittings and it looks really crappy. Removing the fittings gives the advantage of having a clean base.
I saw that too; but, could it be a reflection of something? IDK . . . But, it does look like dents? I've watched several video's where they are using these thick products that work using gravity . . . Looks tricky and timing is uber important.
What product do you recommend for Do It Yourself people? I have a bath vanity in my rental with two sinks where the sinks are discolored so want to recoat either the sinks or the entire tops.
@@donfriar7199 mine has not discolored and is cultured marble, it's yellow-ish but that was the style in the late nineties. This is why he is going with white, it's just a color change. no discoloring.
