Thank you, yes like most people I rely on the park4night app a lot of the time, it’s a real blessing. The maps are done with a an app called travel boast 👍 all the best.
Thanks again Ian. I have to say that we (my wife and me) have really enjoyed your videos. I think I originally found you describing the van but started following your trip. The whole thing has been so well put together and your comments and observations are interesting and helpful for us thinking about our plans. I hope the return home hasn’t been too traumatic.
Hi Pat, that’s so kind of you to say so and thank you for watching them. For me it’s something I can look back on if ,god willing, I’m sat in my rocking chair in 20 years time. I really do hope it helps you with your travel plans and please let me know how it went when you have done a trip. Up to now being in uk has not been too bad as it’s been mostly in Scotland and it’s a bit like being back in Europe because of the amount of European vans here doing the NC500 or such like. These adventures are what defines who we are and what we become... It's amazing how quickly time passes and it's 8 years since my own life defining trip. But I wouldn't be who I am or where I am now without that time of my life driving me in to new ways of being. It's a cliche, but adventure leads to an open mind.
@@MarkDaltonRTW very true Mark and these adventures are milestones in our lives which without, time would pass without having any memory of it at all. Also, who wants to live a mediocre humdrum life? All the best and thanks.
