Only 230,000 miles. It's just stretching it's legs. The Sequoia is the #2 longest lasting car in the US. Only beaten by the Land Cruiser. As another 6'6" 300+ pound mountain bike rider I approve.
I went for an even cheaper solution - buy a wagon car from the 90s or 2000s like the volvo 940 square box shaped style. Why? Because they're roomy enough and have better fuel economy than suvs. People dislike them nowadays so you can find them at affordable prices -buy an inflatable mattress and pump -buy a sleeping bag -done I put my bike vertically and I sleep next to it
I've lived very comfortably out of my brother's 02 sequoia for 10+ days, same with my 82' land cruiser. Just gotta get used to doing a lot of stuff outside, like literally everything accept sleep.
As the proud owner of an '01 Toyota Echo with well over 300,000 miles, I can confirm your statement about Toyota's engines. Don't think we can live in it, though. 😉
