Great video mate fair play to you for digging them very deep holes most would give up and leave it, i find the 540 loves rusty deep nails also a real pain
Cheers Sid now have a better bit of knowledge on this machine and I'm going to buy one as a back up to my Nox. I'm very impressed with the depth, it would be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Nox 600 or 800 in a field test. Happy hunting mate.
Bro.. that an Awesome deep find... dug a few like that and it almost unending...lol.. then I gave, up, mainly on beaches.. ground so hard here in NZ Auck.. NZ.. we have a lot of hot rocks over here.. also volcanic Rocks... give my 540 Brain damage at times and me also... haaa ..... lol.. Gr8 Video clip... thanks... learning all the time 🙂
Seeing this video makes me not regret placing my order for the Vanquish. I could be wrong, but the depth test looks comparable to the AT Pro I sold a while back. Thanks for the info!
So on the 6 pence why was it coming through with negative signals because I have a 540 and whenever I hear a negative with a positive I don’t dig it. Should I be digging them?
I get fooled a lot on those high toning old rusty nails! I have had the 540 for about a week now. Above ground it passes the nail test great. I guess there is just no way around not digging them,,its hard to pass up a clear high tone , and it can be 19 on up on the vdi sounding good.
Philip Poulter very little between them.. if your after the tiny targets the hf will be better but usually in parks its full of shredded foil and specs of trash so probs go for standard 9
Great video, just purchased the vanquish 540 and going on a group dig Saturday. If you don’t mind me asking, what mode would you use for pasture field and stubble ?
@@englandshistory well mate, it was I either I just bought it and tried my hardest to do what little I can to still be able to participate, or just wrap in and let it get the better of me 👍🏻👍🏻. Cheers mate
