Just finished up my Phoenix Portal build with o/d and dig servos. This was my first build and I was amazed that I got it all together with no problems. Haven’t had a chance to hit the trails or rocks just a few runs in the backyard to test everything. Enjoy and have fun!
$379 + transmitter and electronics? $479 + portals, bedsides, interior and limited edition-ness? I'm guessing lots of folks are going to dump money into customizing it anyway. $579 probably isn't too far off.
Great video and info. I’ve been looking for a video with the overhear transmission engaging. I’m trying to learn. Does this kick in to 2nd gear like the Traxxas TRX4s and go faster when hitting trails? Thanks
It changes the front gearing from about 6% overdrive to almost 20% I believe in second position, and some people put a 3rd step in it to go into neutral.. the second transmission servo is for dig and / or neutral as well .
