Cheers to anyone watching this 18 years later. Best show I’ve ever been to. Yellow card, TBS, Coheed, NFG, SOTY, Tokyo Rose. Once in a lifetime experience
@@davidblevins9513 not sure, I've heard a theory that it has something to do with the lack of trees/nature compared to back then changing the way the air smells/feels
Does anyone get reminded of Burnout or Tony Hawk when they hear this music? Thinking of an alternate universe where MTV instead evolved into a network that aired music programming like this instead of a single minute of "reality" TV.
I enjoy the modern Ryan Key with tattoos and muscles as much as anyone but this geeky old-school version has a special kind of “give me your lunch money!” kind of charm.
I was at this year's Warped Tour. I remember seeing Taking Back Sunday, The Matches, Rise Against, From First to Last, The Bled, Avenged Sevenfold, etc., with my girlfriend at the time. Fun times. I even met Sonny Moore and got a picture with him. My mind was blown when I found out who Skrillex was. 😂 Music was way better back then.
Tbh, I was really into them at the time (mostly got into them b/c Feldman was producing them and I loved The Used), however most people I knew in the "scene" back then didn't listen to them. Most people were into emo, screamo, and metalcore and they didn't really fit into any of them.
I usually watch this once a summer if I can. I had the whole thing as well as the “Smell Ya Later” 2005 Warped special on a vhs, lost to the sands of time. This makes me nauseous that this premiered 20 years ago at the end of THIS summer.
I remember watching this back in high school thinking that I wanted to go to warped tour but then it would be in detriot. I also, remember the used and new fould gory play this as well and thought it was cool, seeing bert stage dive like that made me want to start a band and play music. I was just 15 starting to write music and come up with band names and logos to try and have a band, but nobody would play with me.
man ive been looking for this performance of take it away since I was 12. its so much better than the overproduced version on the record with the electronic shit
Good Charlotte with lifestyles for the rich and famous not a bad song I’ve heard a damn sight worse they’re the best band I’ve heard in this video so far
