Actually the Finnish Communist Party was one of the strongest in western countries. It was founded 1918 after the civil war.

It was a civil war where the Communists were soundly crushed. They required foreign interference from the Soviet Union to try and prop up their regime but it was defeated. The Finns would later go on to defeat the USSR in the Winter War as well.

You seem to have no knowledge about Finnish History. There was no real Soviet interference, they did send some wepons, howeret. But! There was on German intervention force , Baltic Division, to back the whites and that was crucial as well as the german trained finns. The reds consisted of sosialdemorats, the communist party was foundet just after the civil war.

Let's not also forget the attempted Communist Soviet invasion of Finland which was fortunately repulsed. I never denied any German involvement, however, given the situation it's only logical Finland would seek an ally who was opposed to Soviet expansionism. Given that the Soviets shortly after the Finnish Civil War would attempt to invade Poland and were beaten back, it's no wonder that the region was ready to defend their sovereignty from Communist terror.

You seem to mixup the 1918 civil war and the WWII. The was no Soviet attack on Finland in 1918. The Reds were finnish workers and pesants fighting for democracy. Remember that that was in 1918 when there was civil war in Russia. Soviet Union was founded in 1922, so it's absurd to say the Soviets invaded Finland. There was no bolsevik invasion in 1918, just some arms. You seem to forget that Finland got its indepence in december 1917 and it was granted by bolseviks and Lenin. You are mixing things so up that's it is even difficult to comment.
