this is oddly specific but this version of objection 2001 feels like comforting someone who's dealing with negative thoughts... objection because you're "objecting" to all the bad things they're telling themselves, but it's also very slow, gentle and calming...

This is honestly so amazing. The best version of the Ace Attorney songs I've heard. I love vapor wave, this is the best thing ever. And my favorite character is Apollo, so that makes this 100 times better. It's at midnight, I'm emotional, not gonna lie, I started crying. Tears flowed, but I didn't full on cry- that's how amazing this is 😭

@@Teezy6354 That actually sounds like a great idea to write about...I don't know if it would work, however, because some cases (like DL-6) take place when Phoenix was *really young*. And if we're counting Investigations, some of the cases span several years before Nick was even born. I also fear it would ruin the many great villains Ace Attorney has had across the series. I mean, it would be terrifying for Phoenix to take Dahlia Hawthorne's place, but it would additionally require so many different backstories to explain why he would have killed or attempted to kill multiple different people like her. Because of this, his relationships with almost every character in the game would be messed up. An example of this is Turnabout Sisters. Since Redd White and April May are not the culprits in the rewriting of the case (yes, I know that technically May did not kill Mia, but she still contributed to making the crime happen), I would have to give Phoenix a reason on why he would be motivated to murder Mia. Well, he wasn't romantically attracted to her, and just respected her as a boss in the original game, so it would not be ideal to say that Nick would kill Mia just because she was involved with Godot, because if he really wanted to be with her in the first place, he would not be tempted to murder her instead of her boyfriend, right? Given the difficulties he has faced so far for being a 'rookie lawyer', he might be jealous that Mia might have been taken more seriously in her cases leading up to her death because Mia has a reputation as one of the best defense attorneys in the legal system. Or he might just become envious of her success. But there's one problem. Mia knew that Redd White was her murderer in Turnabout Sisters; not only did she see White attack her before she died, but she also helped gather evidence against him and testify against him on the last day of the trial. So she would know Phoenix as her killer, and she'd definitely want to serve him justice. I wrote the last paragraph to prove one point: that Nick's relationship with Mia would change, but it would also change with Maya as well. Maya is still very distraught and sorrowed at her sister's death, so chances are that if she finds out that Phoenix killed Mia, her older sister, she would not be the happy, cheerful assistant who would willingly follow him through the series. (Mia is shown to be able to communicate in a later case with Maya through the use of spirit channeling and give messages to her, and Maya give information to Mia vice versa.) She would leave him alone and not help him. Great idea, but I'm just not sure it would work. Now maybe if Phoenix accidentally killed *some* of the victims the main series just because how random events played out in a goofy manner...that could work with Ace Attorney's more comedic moments, and it would not require such a dramatic character personality and relationship change. I apologize for writing this all out, but it seemed like a very well-thought out comment, one that I felt I just had to reply to. Thank you for the inspiration; I will surely begin to attempt to work on this.
