@@10fourrubberduck99 man never let one trick keep you from doing others no matter what the fad is👍🏽 tre flips are cool but it's always those tricks that lead up to them that I think are the coolest🤘🏽✌🏽
And if you do feel lost,it starts with your mind first, them demons, an confess any sins you have before fighting demons on this earth, hence people who may judge you. Jesus saves for real he saved me an gave me confidence. 🙏
Bro this is one of my favorite tricks. I know this trick and pressure flips get a bad rep but I think that they are both good tricks. Personally, I think that every trick is a good trick as long as it’s fun to do. Skating at the end of the day is all about having fun
Sometimes people forget that for most people skating isnt a job or something you do to impress others, its something you do for fun. If a trick comes easy to you, and its fun, DO IT. I love easy tricks, especially the ones that come easier to me than others. Thats special. You should embrace those tricks, dont neglect them just because other people got a stick up their ass
I feel like the only skaters that hate varials are elitists who lost the ability to varial after learning tre flips, Yet proceed to hate on people who varial and can't tre flip since they feel discouraged for not being able to land the simpler trick.
I just like to get from A to B smoothly and with speed, and enjoy the ride. Your varial kickflips are satisfying to watch; Cork sniffers can complain all they want.
Hating a trick because it catches them out in a game of skate is the single worst excuse to hate anything. I just don't get it. Either learn them or take the L 🤣
not really. ppl that think they are easy just think so because they already have pop shuvs. if you don't have pop shuvs, just a normal rockety kickflip usually comes first. hard to combine a pop shuv with a flick if you don't have pop shuvs and don't know how to flick yet.
Some of the best varial flips off the top of my head are Bastien Salabanzi’s out of that ditch gap in Sorry & Brian Andersons fakie varial down the 9 in Yeah Right. And whoever that guy is that u got the clip from in your video, perfect.
Varials are hard to hold onto once you get into tres. A good popped and caught varial looks way better imo. Especially nollie varials. One of my favorite tricks 😊
Varial Kickflip is my fave. My brother whos been skating about 2 years learned them. I always tell him most skaters now a days are trash and can't do old tricks
Easily one of the coolest looking tricks in skateboarding. How you gonna get mad at someone in a game of skate all because you let your Varials get rusty lol
Hard flips and inward heels: "I spin 180 degrees and flip at the same time 😎" People: 🤩 Varial flips: I spin 180 degrees and flip at the same time 😎 People: 🙄
It's just that everybody who does them has them bad. It's a difficult trick to make look good. Most pros have insane ones though, and no one doubts that. But tres are cooler. The beautiful 360° by 360° lateral and horizontal rotation of tres make them a mathematically perfect trick.
It is easy, i figured it out before kickflip, but i love the trick, even though I've since learned treflip and impossible, i still do them as a warm-up trick
It was the one flip truck that I could do consistently that others couldn't but the only way I could do it was riding fakie. Same thing with impossibles
Obviously reason for varial flip hate is that they mostly look ugly and only some people can make them look okayish, but my god, that footage of Tyler Price in the beginning is the most beautiful varial kickflip I've ever seen. Seriously, I just want to rewatch it over and over.
I love vks, I put emphasis on making those my most practiced, I did them more than even kickflips. Up and down stairs, ledges, and over gaps, the fact it is so simple made it my favorite go to for just flowing the streets. Consistency should be strived for, and easy tricks are a great way to start that journey.
Also, if you're forgetting tricks, you are probably not skating enough or something. I can understand forgetting some crazy thing like a flamingo in a game of skate but a vk? Really, that's like base skills. Imo
I found varial flips harder then trey flips when i first started. The rotation of a trey is almost always done like a pressure flip but you have to flip harder to catch a normal varial flip, in my opinion anyway.
Dude varial flips just frustrate me because after learning how to tre flip, i find it damn near impossible to not over rotate the board when i go for a varial, but it doesn't bother me because i prefer the look of tre flips so I reject varials lol
I can't tre without Nollie or a fakie variation. but my varials are consistent af. I just don't like tre flips cause they're the most thrown trick out there. every video has at least 3.. lol
Honestly, most people I’ve come across hate them because they can’t land them consistently or they just can’t do them. I love that trick, use to have them switch, it was fun being able to do both regular and goofy.
I use to hate them because I only knew kickflips and never landed properly with my feet so I always slipped out. After upgrading my bushings to 98a doh dohs I started to learn and land shuvits consistent. After getting bored of shuvs I learned the varial all over again but this time with shiv consistent. Now my landing is smooth and I can stay on top of the board land bolts while riding fast. The hardest part or the varial is the extra pop aka rocket the nose straight up before you flick the front foot.
THIS! Pop shove its and kickflips are probably my best tricks but I just can't combine both, I've never been able to keep varials under me so yeah I hate that trick, switch and nollie are easier for some reason.
I knew a guy that would always roast this kid for using varials when we were all at the park (the kid just learned them of course he’s gonna perfect them) One day a varial landed him an E in skate and then he started to whine about the “cheap shot” mentioned in the video trying to defend his loss. Which is sad in itself, with an open mind losing in skate will only inspire you to learn a new trick, and if it leaves you rolling away with a sour taste in your mouth over someone’s name, you’ve got some personal shit to sort out. Essentially banning any trick is weird, really. That’s like one musician telling other musicians that they should boycott the key of C because everybody plays in the key of C It’s a trick. On a skateboard. No cheap shot, no cheating. And if it’s such an easy trick it should be the last one to cost you a game. Skating is a sport, but it is also an art, and art is subjective. It’s personal, and circumstantial to each and every artist of any field/craft, and it definitely wasn’t ever intended to be a vessel for judgement and superiority
cant do regular varial flips, but can tre in every stance and varial flip nollie and switch but somehow fakie and regular i just cant do properly (i mean ive landed them but rarely) i just miss the flick always…
No Rules in Skateboarding. Crush it every day. Do your own thing Skate How you want to. Nobody should never tell you what trick to learn or what trick that is most popular, Makes me sick... If you are a true Skater. Then you know whats right to do. Stay Original. Keep it Real ❤ Forever 🤟💥💥🤟♥️
I honestly don’t care what people think but landing a Variel flip is just uncomfortable. It’s not that I care about the people watching, it just doesn’t feel like a Steezy trick and it’s very hard to do with style. Yours look great though
