You were the one that showed the Wallke H6 Bike, a big bike I was close to buying but now I have such a desire/passion for Electric Scooters. Happy you did this, I have subscribed!😄
@@JeremiahMcintosh Yo're so welcome! Well I dare say it, Varla Scooters are going to be the most stolen scooters like Hondas, my friend just got hers stolen. It's high rated for sure.
I got into electric scooters myself. I started with the “hurdle motorgear “ 350 watt simple scooter. I was told as soon as I get it, I’ll soon get bored looking for more power, more speed and more features. They were so right. I’m on my third scooter now. I was debating the Pegasus but ended up going with the nanrobot lightning. The lightning was cheaper and better features imo. I need it for a commuter scooter so the Pegasus would have actually been better due to its smaller size. Surprisingly though, the Pegasus is one pound heavier than the lightning.
Nice review and awesome insider on the extra info on the suspension/knot tightening. If I do end up going for the Varla Pegasus I know what to keep an eye on exactly now thanks again
@@JeremiahMcintosh So so lucky though... Not available here in the UK yet... 24th October... It's gona be sold out in a day I reckon. I hope you still are able to have fun at least and enjoy a Scootz about =)
I almost thought the handlebar was on backwards. How many electric have companies sent to you for reviews? You might need someone to send you a shed just for your electric items. Free of course. Love your reviews, Jeremiah. Thank you for sharing.
excelente review gracias, acabo de recibir la mía, voy a tener muy presente tus recomendaciones. excellent review, thank you, I just received mine, I will keep your recommendations very much in mind. Thanks again!!!
At 26:30 glad you discovered the problem about the screw and at 29:00 they should have made the latch longer on the top for the velcro to seat properly not touching the red button. Thanks for the video nice review. I’m deciding this one or the Nanrobot lightning. 🙂
Can't wait! I fixed a rear tire flat on my Fluidride Hero OX yesterday. I need to get it on the road to check it out. Been raining here of late. I never want to change a scooter flat ever again. That was hard!!!
i dont know, i decided to watch the eagle one video after this one, and i think you are getting alot more for that extra $500, maybe do another video with more comparisons, cause that suspension issue with jumping off curbs seems like it would be a deal breaker to me.
The eagle one has more speed but, do you really need it? The Pegasus is fast enough for me plus, you don't have to worry about tire pressure and flats. I had the Apollo Ghost and much prefer the Pegasus.
Awesome review and thank you for the tips. I’m a new subs. Do you have any tips regarding the brake lights? Mine stopped working. Headlights still work fine… THANKS!
@@JeremiahMcintosh thank you for the quick reply, my only worry was tired on Mantis since I've heard mix reviews with not having solid tires and Mantis having flats
I recently got one and overall love it so thank you! But I noticed I could not get the speed you got, making out at 26 mph. How can I get your speed and is it more of factory variation or more of a setting thing? I am fairly light weight so it’s not that.
@@youngboy4129 I actually let mine fully die and when I full charged next time it went 1-2 mph faster. Also noticed the ads are not equivalent to reality unfortunately
I see they’re all like that. I’m on my third scooter now. Each model a little better than the next. Surprisingly, my first scooter “hurdle motorgear” was the only one that reached its advertised speed of 19mph. I’ve noticed that ANY scooter will only reach its top speed in ABSOLUTELY PERFECT conditions (smooth pavement, Zero wind, full battery, not even a pebble on the road to slow you down😂). Range is the same thing. The only way you’re getting the advertised range is the slowest settings (single motor, eco, gear 1) which makes a boring ride. So I always cut the range in half because I unleash the full power of the scooter.
I’m on my third scooter now and I see they hit the advertised speed for maybe a few seconds but it has to ABSOLUTELY PERFECT conditions. Flat smooth pavement. No wind. Not even a pebble to slow you down.
Have you done any tricycles, I'm interested in two tricycles the liberty and the one by Bolton tricycles I wish they had a tricycle in between the two sizes but anyway though I was wishing somebody would do an interview on on one or both of those
None of them are. They all come with an “IP” rating which tells you how much water it can withstand (light rain, small puddles, heavy rain, etc). I rode my first scooter in light rain (instructions said it was ok. ). Deck started making all these creeking noises. Brake switch malfunctioned. So it goes with my original theory-electric and water don’t mix.
Remember to cut the range in half from what the advertised range is. I bought the nanrobot lightning and the advertised range is 25 miles. But that’s on gear 1, eco on, single motor. That means a boring 8, 9 mph. I would only use that setting if my battery was running low and I’m trying to make it home without doing the walk of shame.
I’m not sure. The jumps I showed in the video was the only jumps I did with it so in my opinion with that limited time jumping they should have not worked themselves out and they should have had loctite on them.
@@JeremiahMcintosh you mentioned some kind of lock tape for the screws. Where can I get that? My Pegasus is coming in on Thursday I live in NY pot holes everywhere wondering how the Pegasus will hold up. And I don’t like that they didn’t add a key lock ignition.
@@JeremiahMcintosh thanks. It really sucks that you can’t jump. I think they just added that sticker cause the other videos review I’ve seen they don’t mention not to jump. Jimmy Chan was I believe one of the first to review the Pegasus and they were jumping on it to.
Maybe they just didn’t mention it? I’m don’t see a problem going off curbs here and there but I would definitely keep an eye on the rear bracket and bolts.
Oh yeah… that scooter is a little heavier than our LECTRIC XPs. I always ride with my gel cushion full finger gloves. Thank you for your reviews. You’re always so thorough. 🚲 🛴 Of course you know that the company is going to blame the bolt issue on you since you were jumping it… I’m hoping they don’t though.
Thanks Donna. They said "Please try not to ride it with dangerous actions such as jumping it is possible to reduce the friction between the suspension and the bottom end of the rear deck.”
