Hello Ginger can you please possibly tell me where I can get a new stem bolt for the Varla Pegasus it's stripped out so the stems like super loose I tried to tighten it best as I could but it's just not enough so I would like to know if you know where I can get one without having to go through varla for the part. Thank you
Hey `@gingeronwheles could you do a video of what you have done to your wolf warrior Very interested in where you got all of your storage bags and wire tubes
There are some older ones on the channel explaining most of it. The wire tubes are just from an autoparts store, most will sell that stuff in different diameters.
RK9 Rides had thumb fatigue when riding with the thumb throttle. he mentioned he would have to swap the thumb throttle with the brake to get a comfy grip on both handlebar and throttle. Did you find the same in that you were having to hyper extend your thumb ?
@@GingerOnWheels ah ok.. i wasnt sure if your videos were in sequence or a few behind in the order of uploading. Yeah.. something to keep in mind when you ride it then.. the hyper extension of the thumb and the squashing of the hand into the grip to reach the throttle.
I am also wondering about the thumb throttle comfort level, and if the acceleration is smooth and gradual, or powerful and jerky. I've also heard reports on wheel chatter. I'm almost ready to buy, but will wait for Ginger's further review.
@@pskochin hey my I have no thumb fatigue on mine, but I don't ride for longer than 30 minutes at a time.. and the thumb throttle is definitely not gradual it is more on the jerky side, you press it a bit and gives a lot of power, I have no wheel chatter on mine, I would say the ride quality is actually really good ( I have an emove touring and kaabo mantis pro SE for reference to compare too)
@@dallasdon4662 about 3-4 weeks. U can email them they r helpful from experience . The scooter's shipping definitely took longer than expected and the safety gear hasnt even arrived yet
JUST got this scooter today, put it together exactly as manual stated, rode it ONE single mile, and LDC Display would not turn on again after that. I made sure I charged it, light was green, it said it had a full charge when I was riding it and it never turned on again. Do you have any help on this?
Check to make sure the cable connection to the display isn't loose. Second thing I'd do is email Varla customer support with your order number and a short video. They'll likely ship you out a new throttle piece first.
@@GingerOnWheels that’s what I was thinking, I tried to disconnect the PCD wires but am worried I am going to break them. It was pretty tough so I stopped because I didn’t want to break anything. So you think just using some extra force will separate those two connecting pieces? I emailed them they didn’t answer so I called, said I should hear back from someone within an hour. I’ll keep you posted. Let me know your thoughts on the connected wires. I saw in your video your wires came disconnected? Mine were already connected
I actually just separated them and connected them back and still didn’t turn on. No luck, guess I’ll wait to hear back from Varla, pissed. Literally got the thing 4 hours ago
@@angelodispigna I'd be upset too. But let's see how fast Varla responds. With them, my experience is 'squeaky wheel get the grease', call and email as often as you can.
The scooter has a damper that's why the steering is so heavy! It's very weird at first, but really nice when you get used to it, going 30 mph there is no wobble very stable ride, for reference my kaabo mantis pro SE wobbles like crazy at 30 mph.
Agreed! I just rode it around for the first time today. Its got a very unique steering feel thats hard to get used to at low speeds, but it's ultra stable at top speed.
@@GingerOnWheels Also you can adjust the bolt on folding lock mechanism to give it a more secure fit, the brakes suck out of the box but once adjusted they are fine, the power is slow out of the box I believe it's P11 and P12 settings you can adjust to make it faster ( however the manual says not to adjust). However I did change it and the scooter becomes a lot faster..
Not sure i really understand this scooter esp cuz eagle one seems much better... 66lbs? 500w motors? Small battery? Kinda like a 1 year ago scooter? Maybe price is really low? 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, after seeing the two side by side I can tell the build quality amd suspension of the VSETT is far superior. But who knows, maybe the Pegasus will surprise on hill climbs or speed tests, or maybe the VSETT will break. Only time will tell.
IMO the varla pegasus is inferior when it comes to quality and style compared to other solid tire e scooters such as the NanRobot Lighting and the more expensive Zero 8X.
im asking kind heartedly..please can i have that scooter..please please give it to me im begging it will help me going to my work honestly i cant afford to buy a scooter cuz my salary is only 200$ a month here in our country..im only walking for about 5 to 6 kilometers everyday to go to my work.. thank you
