Hey Conner! I am not much of trail runner, so I can not honestly speak to that. But, these are easily some of the most comfortable and forgiving boots I have used.

@@Engearment I only saw the dune version comes in wide, but I saw on eBay now the black color comes also in wide ? I’m kinda hesitate to buy shoes from eBay since they’re mostly counterfeit? Do you recommend me buying it from Amazon the only differences is $15 more ? Thanks again

I have not used them in desert conditions. I have used them all summer in hot temps and lots of hikes. I am not sure what to recommend for cooler in sunlight.

Thank for the nice comment and great suggestion. I am going to do a podcast on this topic here soon. We actually have quite a bit of gear that comes through to review, that we dont wind up reviewing as it does not meet our standards. So, we dont publish them. Flip side is that no gear is perfect, so I can definitely appreciate your suggestion on short comings. Thanks for the input!

@@Engearment you can see the Dead Bird in real in Eichstaett (Southern Germany) near Solnhofen where it was found. Eichstaett also called Altmuehltal-City. Altmuehl River would be perfect for you an your Family. Hiking and or Biking the Altmuehltal. River-Tour with a SOAR Boat...😁 North of Nuremberg there is Pottenstein. Climbing Zone Up to highest Grades. Between Nuremberg and Eichstaett there is Weissenburg showimg traces of the Romans. The Limes (Firewall for the Roman Empire against the Germanian Tripes) shows some traces to Explore in this Region. Roman Forts are even reconstructed at POIs. Nearby a Lake District called Fraenkische Seen-Platte. Southern Germany full of Adventures...

thats what i thought too. Also Vibram is pronounced with a long "i". Not Veebram.

@@kahaki Actually, the name comes from its creator, Vitali Bramani (italian) - which is pronounced "VEEtali - so "Veebram" is correct.
