Very happy with the DLC for this game, but I was kind of hoping that Strifer's Pass 2 would throw in Pozzol as a bonus character at the end. Ah well, as long as I can main Hogan I'm fine with the roster.
By the way, any of those alternate colour schemes seem... I dunno, sort of vaguely familiar?
...Anyway, it's not that hard to tell, but for anyone wondering: no, sadly this is just a mockup, not an actual game nor an announcement that I'm working on or planning to work on an actual game. The jig is up!

I don't even know what to say, this is just incredible!!! You did an amazing job adapting my little track art into a full-fledged menu! I absolutely adore the character portraits, especially Jentha's and Serpaz's - you NAILED all of them! Seriously, incredible stuff!

I'm really glad you like it! I'd have had a far harder time if I didn't have something to at least start working off of, so your little track art made a pretty big difference to me.

This absolutely rules!!! I'm too stupid to understand a lot of the references but all the same it's obvious that a lot of care was put into this. I've always been a sucker for mock-ups and this is no exception. Job well done! (p.s. Glomer main right here. I wrote the guy's route, how can I not be)

Not all the colour schemes are references, and honestly I couldn't always come up with recognizable and iconic ones--so no way are you stupid for not recognising everything. A lot of care did go into it either way, thank you! Also, the Glomer route was phenomenal! Funnily enough I only got around to catching up with SBB once I'd finalised the roster, but once I did I almost felt sorry for putting the poor guy in the line of fire like this just to have the funny Bart head... No joke, the boy needs a serious break.

@@captainquestion2975 Every fighting game needs a joke character. The Mr. Game & Watch or Wii Fit Trainer of the game, in a game with Hulk Hogan and Weird Al right there. Love that guy. (i'll be honest, i'm resisting the strong urge to ask you for the assets so i could make a playable html5 version of this menu at some point. i don't have the time right now but if i did.....)

@@AlienoidNovace Well, I do have all the assets just sitting around... I'm sure I'll post some of them separately sometime soon, but you can certainly hmu if you'd like to have all of them. (incidentally, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing an interactive version happen either...)

Vast Error has a lot of very talented people involved, and Snowbound Blood (the Vast Error Friendsim) definitely is extremely good, I'd very much recommend giving it a shot. Either way, thanks!

Edolon's Nagito and Ellsee's Ms. Fortune,, exquisite For real tho, the music is so good, I'd jam out on this screen for a while if I owned a game like this, not to mention the absolute love for the characters so I'd have to get the dlc ♡

Any tips on maining Sharper? I can't understand his kit at all.

Honestly, they should have put in a more detailed tutorial. Pretty typical for fighting games to not bother teaching you the basics, I guess. Bearing in mind that I'm definitely not a competitive-level player, the trick to Sharper is that you can always rely on his normals (the knife, gun, and cane moves), but most of his specials (the doors, the california raisins move...) are extremely finicky and situational on purpose. Additionally, unless you keep track of your artifact usage very carefully, any move that summons one of the other Dead Shufflers might instead call in one of their alternate probability versions, which obviously causes all sorts of unplanned shenanigans. Luckily, these moves aren't useless! Fucking up combos through random happenstance and teammate incompetence increases Sharper's Frustration Meter, which powers up his normals to devastating effect. I hope this basic explanation helps, otherwise you might want to check the Vast Error Discord for more tips. Good luck!

The short of it is yes, that's troll Bart Simpson. The long version is: Vast Error's Repiton is a hypercapitalist dystopia that regurgitates old media into infinity and this poor sap is forced to perform his job while dressed in a troll Bart Simpson mascot suit to keep the kids placated. Also, Vast Error's main writer is a huge Bart fanatic. Just a big ol' Bart Man, that Austin.
