Divine because it is sung in praise of the Supreme Being. There is no need for anyone to prove to you if it's divine to you or not. That's fr you to discover within yourself. Not for someone else to show to you. Everyone is different. Some people love this genre of music and some dont. Live with it. No need to question someone's music preference and definition of divinity. It's different for everyone. Doesnt mean if you dont see the beauty in it, everyone else should feel the same. The last time i recalled, the world doesnt revolve around you There's a reason why this tradition from the Vedas continues till date.
Franz Berger The Supreme Being isn't my neighbor for me to just walk out of the house and see 'him' driving off to work. Don't be silly. I call 'him' the Supreme Being because I want. And news flash , it has nothing to do with you. I can call 'him' whatever the hell u want to- Supreme Being or Transcendental Reality or God or Allah or Whatever. That's my problem. Puja and prayer are done in love and devotion to Bhagavan. They help one be brought closer to God. By sitting or standing and concentrating , by shutting off the world and focusing only on the Supreme Truth. Besides, puja is done along Vedic mantras which have specific vibrations that helps one positively. Like the syllable Om. It resonates at a frequency of 432Hz. That's the frequency of of DNA and it correlates with the colour spectrum (just to name a few). It's also the sound of the universe. Same way, Carnatic music also has a similar effect. Ha-Ha. Typical. Blame it on everyone else but ourselves. Poverty has nothing to do with God. Poverty of due to other stuff like politics and bla bla bla. WhT makes u think that by praying to God one automatically should have a perfect life. In order to overcome poverty, we need to work together and figure out a solution. And everyone knows that sitting in a temple does not give answers to problems as such. There is God everywhere. But there isn't poverty everywhere. People are born on this planet according to their karmic baggage. There's nothing me or you can do about the past. Because it never did matter. What matters is that we go hand in hand (if we want to of course) and help each other. There's no need to reform anything. Only your perception and thought needs reforming. There's nothing wrong in praying to the Energy which everything emanates from. Ppl are jut being grateful. I don't know why you have a problem with that. In Hinduism, we're just praying and going bout our own ways. No beautiful words like evangelism or deadly ones like terrorism. Go and comment on their stuff. What's the point of coming here and commenting? No need for you negative energy here. It's all good here. And if someone doesn't like it, the leave. Don't forget, there's no need for you to comment here, no need for u to believe in God, and ZERO need for you to make someone not believe in God. It's all a personal thing. It'll be better if your energy is put in better use. Honestly, in this judgemental world one can't even listen to music without some criticizing it, nobody asked for your opinion. Do you get that? Yeah I know dude. I get it. It's totally okay.Just that, nobody's perception is higher than anyone else's you know. We're all here together. All confused and js trying to get by each day. So anyone and everyone's view is valid. Acceptance. At least for me. By thinking that way it's easier to understand ppl and where they're coming from and also respecting them regardless of their view. I'm from Malaysia :)
