Millions of Catholics stand firmly with Vigano, because he would NEVER SAY ANYTHING WITHOUT HAVING FACTS TO BACK IT! We are happy to have priests who are not cowards! We have to pray for them.
Hello Robert and Father Chuck, Father I hope your treatment goes well you are an old school warrior in the church cutting through Vatican politics and making clear definitions between both politics and true church doctrine. Thank you both for putting peoples mind at rest. God bless you both.
@@johnphelan8300 I didn’t follow the trial so I never heard the evidence and even more importantly, I don’t know the accusers or their credibility, but I do believe the system he was tried under is not completely trustworthy.
Really appreciated the history on St Athanasius. Would have enjoyed if you continued on giving the full story. Thank you for this educational talk. Definitely was encouraging in terms of being a mirror of today's situation in the Church.
Wow! Wow! Wow! You both have taken a basketful of fragments (of the chaos of our world) and woven them into a beautiful tapestry! This tapestry can be lovingly draped on Jesus' shoulders as a testament to our love and faithfulness to him. Thank you, may God bless you, for guiding me to this understanding. Please never apologize for the details, storytelling, and discussion that you provide. It is essential in building a foundation of understanding for us. I tire of the rapid gunfire of "news" that does not provide thoughtful consideration of how it affects my journey towards God. You are both gems. Thank you!
I agree with you Father Murr in being content with this situation. And this situation hasn’t been completed. Time on our part will expose all it’s part of God’s will we have to pray for the church in her passion at this moment. God bless to you, Dr. Moynahan and Fr. Murr.
So very interesting! I LOVE Church History and all history, also. Wonderful points, Dr.Moynihan, on how a council and Synod should give Archbishop Vigano a Chance and hearing!
You both are wonderful together! Father Murr is so impressive and inspiring and you, too, Dr. Moynihan! God Bless and keep you both, I BELIEVE that Archbishop Vigano IS the new Anthanasius!
Father Murr, you have given me much hope that things are moving within the Church to correct things. Thank you!! Also, thank you both for sharing the history and its similarities to the present situation. May God continue to bless you both as well as Archbishop Vigano and Bishop Strickland! ❤
To me the most important point from Mgr Vigano is that Rome is no longer Catholic but is a conciliar, Synodal Church and has lost the faith. The church of Saint Peter is supranatural and divine and the doctrine of the Savior cannot be changed, touched, etc. Catholics want a Catholic Church and centric on the Savior and his life and doctrine.
Dr Robert! Thank you for making the remark today : that you don’t care for the title “Trad” but That you are a Catholic!👏bravo… I feel the same. I’m not able to attend a Latin Mass where I live but we have very devote authentic priests and the Novus Ordo mass is respectful and with great love … I think comments like yours unite instead of this great divide! Also some time ago you had a brilliant guest named Joshua that said something so profound and greatly appreciated… he was talking about Moses when he got drunk and two of his so sons mocked him the other Shielded him …& we should not mock or laugh at our President Biden even when we feel we have cause to… I have laughed and thanks to this young man will never do that again! Your program is great 👏
If we don't talk about brushing our teeth are we surprised that we get cavities? Not talking about sin or facing sin makes us rot in the very sin we refuse to root out and rid ourselves of. We've created a world filled with zombies (walking dead) because they are dead in their sinfulness. Who will cleanse them of their sins?! REPENT, believe in the Gospel, and....Sin No More. (All of Us!)
Vigino is clearly in very solid ground. I am delighted that the he has been vindicated. Even the pope has lost credible after a 5 person in a long debate.A debate which has picked the substance.Today you have not seen an excellent few hours. Several have spoken very rarely.its actually close runn and care reasont.
++Vigano's excommunication is unjust. Considering the bishops and priests who teach things contrary to the Faith, including Pope Francis himself, this action against Vigano will not stand.
Wow, that was an interesting discussion. I was particularly surprised to learn about the Wikileaks letters of Soros and co. concerning the overthrow of Pope Benedict XVI.
Laity???? I have written letters, brought forth issues….only the Cardinals and Bishops can do something!!!! ArchB Vigano is trying to do something! I am praying for him and sacrificing for him…..
Thank You Dr. Moynihan for telling the story of St. Athanasius. Francis is reported as having denied the divinity of Christ as well as the necessity of faith for salvation. Is this a Barabbas moment? Faithful Catholics are using their ropes to hang Archbishop Vigano, because they have been told to do so?
YES! The treatment & sheer hatred & vitriolic comments made about AB Viganò & those who support him are outrageous! It's like a mind v!rus spreading like wild fire. Those people have no authority, no place to tell others they're now suddenly, "outside of the church, skismatic, heretik, apostate, not Catholic etc etc". Their behavior is abominable. I remember JB also ditching the title; "Vicar of Christ", in 2019/20 iirc. The strangeness never ceases with this one! Like Robert & Fr M mentioned, someone WITH the authority to ask the questions, finally has done it! And the penalty he paid was unjust & perhaps not even valid. But just like St. Athanasius' autobiography reflects, something has now been formally put in motion by which these looming questions might be addressed. Who knows how long it'll take, but like they said... It isn't going away. We can only pray more bishops take this opportunity to do something. I know the role of laity is limited, but perhaps a petition or letter with signatures could be drawn up & given to the bishops, or something similar. It would likely be ignored by most, but who knows, it might give a bishop the extra confidence he needs to join in to ask these questions or refuse to stop offering the Tridentine Rite. Another issue is that countless Catholics don't even know any of this is occurring. We should take the time to gently broach these topics with people or groups to see where their level of knowledge lies & where we can introduce some of these topics. Maybe ppl can say something like, I found a really informative Channel on YT thst discusses ongoing situations in the Church & if they seem receptive, share the Channel. I pray these ppl, some who are very smart, sharp individuals, but also others who relish the chance to admonish ppl saying things like; you don't have the "authority" to form an opinion or ask questions based on your own experiences, eyes, ears, reason, research etc; take a minute to seriously consider how they are treating AB Viganò & his supporters. Since as we know, throughout the history of the church, it could very well be them in the same situation. Asking questions, wondering; how the heck did we get here. Then getting attacked or worse for simply asking. St. Athanasius, St. Ambrose, St. Peter & Paul, St. Joseph, OLO Carmel; Ora Pro Nobis + 🌹
28:48 🎯 Exactly Robert! I have been suggesting that Catholics drop that term/label for a very long time. This situation, the plight of the "łrads", who are nothing more than Catholics who wish to worship as they have been taught, as their parents, grandparents, gg-parents, and the Saints were taught & believed. What WAS; up until only 40-60 years ago... ... Not to say that issues were not brewing before then, but the major upheaval that occured during the late '60's & '70's. Catholics should be able to worship in this manner as they have for millennia, without fear, persecution or insult. Anything less or yet another rupture in the Spiritual Heritage/ Inheritance of countless families & is simply wonton cruelty. [See: Quo Primum, Summorum Pontificum] Although, This has been going on for what is a blip in time in the history of the church. It is tragic & painful; but as St. Athanasius' autobiography reminds us, there have been similar situations with 0:00 heavy penalties suffered for those who hold the truth. You are right, someone with the authority & knowledge to formally ask these questions has spoken. Sadly incurring an unjust & cruel penalty for many years, currently & previously as he was forced into hiding for fear of his life & even perhaps of his loved ones. And it's not going away. You'd think the, "welcoming, big tent of the conciliar church of synodality" could add just one more synod onto their busy schedule of synods about synods to discuss these matters. Also, was wondering if you two could look into the alleged prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi, which supppsedly said that one will come in his name [Francis], but he will be a destroyer. Is there any validity to this prophecy? If so, is there any additional context for it? Thanks! God Bless & protect you both! +AM+ 🌹
You are so right to reject an Ecumenical Council. 🙏 The one I hate the most is Ephesus I, and especially 'the spirit of Ephesus I'. It's the one that brought in all the pagan stuff about Mary.
"Of one substance with the Faither..." And for years the English translation at Mass was "of one being...," vague enough to be favoring Arianism. Thank Heavens Benedict XVI required the translation to be accurate.
Thank-you for finally bringing up Vigano’s unsubstantiated pedophilia accusation against the Pope. I was dismayed that Trad media ignored this while covering the excommunication. It changes the perspective.
Hello from Puerto Rico 🙏i briefly discussed Vigano with my priest and he said we need to hear both sides but not lose faith in Catholic Church and God. Thanks to both for this discussion. We have to remain in prayer but the accusations against the Pope are serious.
We have to listen to Protestants, Evangelicals and Pentecostals too, when they have bad stuff to say about the Catholic Church. Who knows they might have valid points. You have to listen to all sides. 🙏
@@a.t.c.3862 I am Catholic and I follow Jesus Christ not man. Man is fallible but God is infallible. Jesus Christ left the faith to the apostles to went out to spread the word of God. To this day the word of God doesn’t change . Man changes
@@a.t.c.3862 that’s ur opinion and perspective but not mine. Do u go to church ? What religion? Do u participate in church things ? I respect ur opinion but it’s not mine.
By their fruits you shall know them. Personally know several ex-Legionnaire priests, seminarians and lay people who were extremely malformed by the Legionaire programs. Among the laypeople who were malformed in Legionnaire programs and seminary formation, two have lost the faith. The whole order needs to be shut down.
St. Hilary of Poitiers (AD 315 - 368) as a champion of Catholic orthodoxy, rigorously opposed the Semi-Arian Heresy of his time. The Semi-Arian Heresy attempted to fuse Arianism with the Catholic faith to lead the Faithful into Arianism with the ambiguous term God-Man. Thus, Semi-Arianism was more dangerous than Arianism itself because it clocked itself in a deceptive veneer of orthodoxy. Analogous to the above, we can equivalate Semi-Arianism with Conservatism (which can be either Novus Ordo or even traditionalists) insofar as they seek to co-exist leading the faithful into the Novus Ordo councilor church.
The good archbishop made a mistake when he revealed the accusation against Bergoglio without corroborating evidence (and the gravity of this allegation demands BEAUCOUP de preuves très fortes). He should have kept to himself this history till the proofs were abundant, unimpeachable, and publishable.
I'm not a 'watcher,' though was a bit curious so stayed a while. When you mention that you don't spread 'rumors' or innuendos and then give credibility to gossip, what is that? No proof, just the vagrant comment of 'a priest from Argentina...' Really.
Please stay on the topic of study rather than going off on tangents of little interest, and please do not summarise what has been said as if you are dealing with children, not adults.
Trying to follow this with all of the geriatric stops and starts, and given that we see respective, successive monologues masquerading as genuine, interactive discussion ..... well, it's not for me, it's always far too long and stylistically inappropriate. I have unsubscribed.
Patience is a virtue, wisdom like this is essential for understanding…….Robert & Fr Murr are like a fine. Each time they have a conversation, I love the church more and more. We are lucky to have them both.❤️🙏
Wow, that's quite insulting! These men have taken their own time to try to bring some clarity to this crisis. Free-flowing conversation isn't scripted & they have to think of the right manner in which to express complicated issues. Good luck & GB.
